Volume 4. Chapter 1 The Treason

Three months later, an inter-academy tournament was held. Everyone was crowding the entrance of the imperial capital, to queue to enter.

"Furthermore!" Exclaimed the soldier guarding the empire's entrance gate.

“Are you guys from Startlight Academy?” asked the soldier.

“That's right, we are representatives of that academy,” Teacher Vina answered the soldier's question.

“Alright, all of you follow me. I will tell you the rules of the empire on your way." The soldier told them and guided them to the dormitory where the tournament participants were.

"Thank you very much." Teacher Vina felt so happy.

Teacher Vina and twenty students including Tasya, Sofy, and Tia. Follow the soldier and telling the punishments that apply in the empire.

"Maybe there's a big discount going on," Rii concluded the situation he saw.

"Then what about the soldier?" Vail asked about the soldiers guarding him with full weapons.

“Excuse me, sir, what is going on? Are there any discounts?" Cini asked one of the traders standing in front of the shop.

"The reason was when the imperial magician tried to find out the remaining Mana of the assassin. They even found traces of the woman herself.” The trader again told him why the woman had been punished.

"Isn't there anyone who wants to help or defend?" Vail was curious about the solidarity of the population within the empire.

“Well, it's best not to get more involved in the problems within the empire. If your family doesn't want to get a love letter from the empire.” The merchant asked Rii, Cini, and Vail to leave and not to interfere.

Rii, Cini, and Vail chose to return to the inn. On the way, Cini hoped that if the rain would come down, the heat of the sun would disappear.

On the other hand, Asino and Kila were outside the Colosseum. When the city bell rang on the sixth sound, everyone in the Colosseum didn't know that they would be trapped there.

“….” Everyone cheered because the tournament everyone was looking forward to had started.

"Good job, Noa." Rini was very happy to see Noa succeed in winning the fight against the students from Barbos Academy.

"I had expected that the three of you would come, even though you could have come as representatives from the academy," Noa tells Rini, Yua, and Teresa.
