Chapter six;

Out came Buanita as she walked out and locked the door slowly right behind her. Her face was lusterless  as  she stared at Tonny who was smiling at her.

“How may I help you young man?” She asked as she folded her hands.

Tonny was taken back at this question. Even though he had to have expected this question and her mother not recognizing her since they were in a different world.

The excitement hadn't allowed him to think past what he was going  through now. A frown filled his face as he stared at Buanita still in shock and disbelief. ”You don’t remember me mother?” He asked just to make sure whatever he had was right!

“Mother! You think I am your mother. I don’t have any kids. You must be mistaken. Please leave!” Buanita answered blankly.

Tonny couldn’t blame her for not remembering him, even Elizabeth herself didn’t remember that they had a life before coming to this world.

But he couldn’t give up. He wanted to live near his mother and protect her since she was so fragile. If only she knew that this was her son, Tonny would be in her embrace right now.

“You are right , I must have got my head mixed up.” Tonny replied as he stepped back. ”He surely didn’t want to leave. He handed over the azalea flowers that he had just bought for Buanita.

Buanita stared at them for a while like they had come with some attachments. She wanted to hold them but restrained herself because she thought they were coming from a stranger and she didn't want anything to do with him.

“Please!” Tonny begged. “At least accept the flowers to make up for the bother.”

Buanita got a hold of the pink azaleas as she walked back inside and closed the door right behind her. Tonny knew how her mother had loved azalea flowers back then and just needed a little push to accept the ones he had brought with him.

This lighted his heart a little as he had made the old lady happy. He wanted to have a connection with her mother but she had made it entirely impossible.

Tonny moved around  the house and sat behind the tree that was in the backyard making sure Buanita didn't see him. He sat there until he could catch a glimpse of his father coming back if at all he lived in this Shelter and they were still together with Buanita.

He kept peeping and could see Buanita washing utensils in her kitchen while she made dinner. Buanita almost caught a glimpse of him and he hid his head now completely.

He sat behind  the tree for a while and when he looked again through Buanita's window, there was a lady in her kitchen. She was around  twenties judging by  her appearance with long wavy brown hair.

She was beautiful, even though she was a non mage, she had white skin and a sense of elegance. Tonny stared at her, getting a hold of Buanta's hand as they walked out of the kitchen, Tonny couldn't see them past the window since it was the only one with a window.

The lady came back in the kitchen as if she was searching for something and her eyes  stared  in Tonny's direction. It is like she had noticed him. Tonny quickly hid himself behind the tree letting out a heavy sigh.

If he was caught, this would be trespassing as his mother didn’t remember him at all. Tonny turned around to look if she was still there so he could find a way to escape from there but she was not there.

‘’Where has she gone? Did she see me?’’ He murmured to himself.

He moved from behind the tree where he had hidden to see what was really going on. He focused his green eyes and visually to see through Buanita's house but saw a fairy standing in front of his face and immediately closed them to avoid being seen as a amage. He knew right there that he was doomed. Four mages of the different elements  came to him and put handcuffs on him.

“Take him away. Am an old lady, why was he inspecting my house? It was creepy. Maybe he is disturbed.”Buanita spoke as they handed back inside the house while the young lady rubbed her shoulders.

“Take it easy, Mrs. Walker.” The lady walked Buanita slowly back inside the house.

Tonny was listening to all their conversations, he was glad Buanita had someone to look out for her.  Right now, his mind drifted back to Elizabeth. He was worried about his date as he might not make it to her in time.

“Cmon, I didn’t do anything.” Tonny scoffied. He had to find a way to get himself released. He would have used his power but they would find out that he was a mage. He was being escorted by the mages of all the elements with their fairies that kept flying around him.

The mages neither spoke to him nor said anything, he was brought to a place that was a few miles away from the city where he was sent into a large building and then locked up from inside. He sat on the floor doomed. Not knowing what to do next. He tried beating up the cell bars and making noise but it was of no use. No one came.

He had to wait until the night so he could break out of the cell.

As he was seated on the floor, a strong sensation grew in him. He had this familiar feeling and a great aura near the cell. It was a positive energy for him. Right now he could use some of it. He got up and walked to the cell bars trying  to look through them.

There was a fairy that was flying near his cell. It was a lady dressed in white. This is where the aura he felt earlier was radiating from. It came to where Tom was standing.

“ Hey there! I have this great urge that you are my master. If you can hear me then you are because non mages don't hear us and they are bound to not have fairies. I don’t know how your aura is so strong. I could feel it from the supreme house. I wasnt sure if I could come because this is a non-mage prison. But your aura is like a magnet.” The fairy spoke. “Did he hear what I've just said. Maybe this is a wrong place…may..be..” She kept mumuring to herself as she flew around from side to side of the cell bars touching her chin.

Tonny was left in a daze as he thought at first that he would get a male fairy. “I thought my fairy would be a male one. But I  appreciate that you are here.”He spoke, tired of her mumbling.

“Don’t be such a dummy, all fairies are female. Am Apophia.” Apophia spoke as she passed through the iron bars to the inside of his cell. Luckily enough he had been put in his own cell.

“So why are you dressed like a non mage.I was starting to second guess myself that you were not my master. We should clear things up so you can be put into the mages sector. It is even more surprising….th... ” Apophia was interrupted in her words.

“Am not going into the mages sector soon, I have a few things I  have to first take care of first with the non-mages.”Tonny replied. “And if you are found with me here, it will be a great disaster for me.”

Apophia rested on Tonny's shoulders as she was immersed in her own thoughts.“I have a master already.” She spoke flying away from his shoulders.

”What…what..? Then what are you doing here. Can you have more than two masters? I think that is totally impossible.” Tonny spoke with a frown eyebrow. He could feel the connection between them but was wondering why she said she had two masters.

“You are right, it is impossible.” Apophia flew right across his face. “But I thought I had a connection with my master at first but sometimes it felt forced. But your aura towards me  is coming naturally. Whenever you are in trouble, its like you will be summoning me. I feel your pain. I don't really know what to think right now unless am fated to two masters.” Apophia stared at the floor with her lips twisted.

After  a long silence she spoke .“I don't know who you are but I think you are my  master too, I think I have two masters.”

Tonny didn’t want to reply but he had felt the strong sensation too, fairy were only loyal to their masters and no one else. However if Apophia remained  here, his little secret would be exposed and besides it was coming to four according to the sunset and he knew he wasn't going to make it to the date he had planned to have with Elizabeth.

“I need you to ran an errand for me.” Tonny asked. “I need to write for you because if you speak. Elizabeth will get suspicious.”

“Its a lady!”  Apophia winked at him as she flew out of the cell bar and picked a few pieces of paper from the security desk before running back inside.

He handed them over to Tonny who wrote a few words on them and handed them back to Apophia.

“She must be special.” Apophia spoke as she got a hold of the papers.

“Yes she is.” Tonny smiled. “Take that paper  to the cafeteria down the city at four. You will find a lady with blonde shiny hair and hand it over to her. After that , don’t come to me before I summon you.”

“Elizabeth! You talking about the blonde mage. I thought she already had a girlfriend. You really have a good eye.” Apophia spoke as she went through the tinny bars while mumbling.

Tonny had to find a way to escape from here in the night so he sat down and concentrated to try and cut down the iron bars from his cell.

He had the mages moving in his direction and immediately seized the fireball that he had just made.

“You have been cleared. You are free to leave low life.” The mage spoke as he opened the door for Tonny to get out.

Tonny clenched his fist but he couldn't risk being put back into the cell, he stared at the mage and sneered at him then slowly realizing his fingers. Right now he knew that he couldn’t just have been cleared unless his mother recalled who he was.

He walked to the reception and saw the lady who had been with her mother earlier talking to one of the mages as they handed over some of Tonny's belongings to her. Tonny didn’t know exactly what this lady was doing here and what he was to expect from her. He was sure she was the one that had called the mages over to arrest him.

What did she want from him? Was the question in Tonny's mind.

“Hey Tonny.” An elegant yet seductive smile filled her lips. It was unintentional he could tell but maybe this was her charming nature. Even the other mages talked to her like she was their fellow mage.

Tonny walked to where she was standing and they headed out to the stairs of the building.

“How did you know my name? And what do you want from me.” Tonny asked. He knew strangers favors had strings attached always.

“Thank you. I am Cynthia.” Cynthia spoke ignoring his first questions. “I had to pretend I was your sister to get you out of there.” She spoke as they finished walking off the staircase and were heading out.

“How do you know my mother?” Tonny asked. He was eager to get his answers out of her.

Cynthia halted in her steps. “I want you to meet someone. You will get all your answers.”
