SUPREME gOD

Chapter five;

He could still remember her fragile body and delicate face before she passed away. If his mother was here that meant that his father was here too, he thrashed in the direction where she was headed but couldn’t find her, the non-mages were too many and were knocking past him. He couldn't focus with his green vision.

This only meant one thing to him after seeing his dead mother in this world, he was dead too. But how come he could remember everything that happened and the rest of the people didn't. 

The mages had started beating the non-mages for skipping curfew, it was very chaotic on the streets. 

“What is wrong with you?”Zhao interrupted him and caught his hand.”We need to leave now.”

Tonny stared in the direction where he had just seen his mother for the last time but couldn’t catch a glimpse of her still.

He quietly turned around and followed Zhao closely. Tonny had a lot on his mind while Zhao walked excitedly, he couldn’t wait to reach home so he ate all the sandwiches.

Tonny was lost in thoughts as they slowly approached Block C. He had wanted to tell Elizabeth that he was a mage and had more than one element he could control but that wasn’t going to be possible now that he had seen his mother among  the non-mages. 

His mother was fragile and he had to protect her,he would find out some new information from her incase she remembered anything. 

They entered inside the room, and Zhao immediately picked up the sandwiches to eat, he couldn’t stop talking tho while stuffing the sandwiches in his mouth.. Tonny stared at him and a cold breeze filled the room once again. 

Zhao was about to say something but fell on the bed with the sandwiches in his mouth. Within a few minutes, he was snoring. Tonny had to make him sleep with his mind, if he didn’t do this, he would never concentrate.

He sat down and started to visualise the fire while creating a ball. At first it was small but the more he concentrated, the bigger it became. He moved it side to side. He was relieved now that he mastered the control of fire.

He then picked up the water from the glass that was nearby, Zhao had left it there. He was untidy. Tonny made the water into a few drops while playing with it and then finally made a full ball out of it.When he smiled, his focus drifted and the water spilled on Zhao on the other side of the bed.

Zhao sat up quickly with his eyes widened letting out a heavy breath.  “My sand wishes!” He shouted. That is the last thing he remembered before going to sleep.

Tonny quickly controlled his mind and put him back to sleep.He fell on his back making a loud bang on the bed.

He learnt he had to concentrate thoroughly if he wanted to control any of the elements, worse for him, he had more than one element to control. He had to master it.

He summoned the wind, and it kind of got freezing in the room. He then tried to summon two elements at once, the fire and the water. Fire in his left hand while water in his right hand. It was hard at first as the fire kept sucking up the water but at last he managed to control the both of them.

Agrin fell on his lips as he drifted to sleep unknowingly, he was so tired and started snoring the next minute he fell onto the bed.

In the morning he woke up to the sound of Zhao eating the sandwiches in front of him.

‘’’I don’t know how I slept off, I should have eaten these last night. But I am glad they didn't go bad. Here, grab some!” Zhao spoke as he stuffed the sandwiches in his mouth once again and used the other hand to hand over a sandwich to Tonny.

‘’Seriously!” Tonny jumped out of the bed. He had to go to the non mages to look for his mother. He couldn't wait to leave here.

A knock was heard on the door and he went out and reached for it. Opening it, there was Elizabeth, she had placed her hair in a pony tail and this gave her an even more elegant look.She was the most beautiful woman in Caudy Shelter, there was no doubt about that. 

He had lost it staring at her face.He would ask her out for coffee when he finally found his answers.

“I need to get you out of here before I get into any trouble with Nathan. Words are already out that I brought a non-mage into the Yellow residence. Look, I am sorry about all this.” Elizabeth spoke. 

“You are a non-Mage.Am glad I met my new friend.”Zhao spoke but his words were unclear as he still had a lot of sandwiches stuffed into his mouth. 

Suzan scoffed, “ Of all the mages, why would you make him share a room with this one? Oh! Look at untidy clothing.”

They both stared at him disgustily. To Zhao, Tonny was a free ticket to his sandwiches.

“Am sorry for having made you go through all that trouble for me. We can leave.I actually recall some of the details. Though small details, I think I know what my mother looks like though I don’t really recall her name.” Tonny spoke. 

He had to lie a little because he knew Elizabeth would help him find his mother sooner, other than going on the streets alone to start searching for one person in the over ten thousand people or more. He actually didn’t know the exact number of the people in the shelter but what he knew was that they were very many.

“I will help you find your mother.”Elizabeth got a hold of his hands and a shiver ran down his spine but he couldn’t say anything and only hoped his cheeks couldn't light up, she had taken him as someone she had to care for.

They walked down the street as they talked, they went to a cafeteria and had some breakfast. As expected, the mages were restricted to different kinds of food and Elizabeth was very picky as she followed the rules.While for Tonny, he ate everything that came his way.

After there, they headed to a building, it was unrenovated and looked old. This was where all the records of the non-mages were kept. It had an old computer and after Elizabeth having a long talk with the mage in charge, he allowed them to use the computer.

‘’But there are a lot of people on this computer, how do we start?’’Elizabeth said.

“I think I kind of recall her name.” Tonny spoke. “Could you try Buanita , any Buanita  with red hair.”He spoke out while they looked up all the Suzans with red hair on the computer.

“There, there she is ”An excited look filled Tonny as he noted the address in his head. It is like he had been given a second chance to life and he had to use it this time around. 

He hadn’t gotten to tell his parents how much he loved them before he died. He was a hot head back then just like the teenagers, but right now, he would protect his mother with his life.

“Should I escort you to go back and meet her.I hope you are not mistaken.” Elizabeth turned her head to Tonny whose face was filled with a smile.He looked adorable to her that he seemed like a caring person, normally in this supernatural world, no one cared about that especially the mages.

“Did she have a mother too?” No! Most of the mages believed they were created by the Supreme god and Elizabeth was no different. It's only the non mages that had the kids.

Tonny was close to his answers and when this was done, he would have like to spend more time with Elizabeth.“Would you like to go out with me sometime?As a way to show my gratitude to you.”

“Is he asking you on a date? You have a boyfriend Elizabeth.” Suzan whispered in Elizabeth's ears.

Tonny could still hear her though he pretended that he didn't. 

“Cmon, it will just be snacks.” Elizabeth spoke to Suzan and then turned to Tonny. 

“Today at four! Same cafeteria.” Elizabeth smiled as he handed a few coins to him. “ You will need them.”

“Alright,” Tonny tried to hide his excitement but his cheeks betrayed him. He was brushing. “I will return the money at four. I owe you big time.”

“He better!” Suzan whispered to Elizabeth. 

“Bye Elizabeth, Suzan!” He waved at them both while he walked hurriedly out of the old building to make sure he finished whatever he had to do before four so he could go and meet up with Elizabeth. 

Searching  with his eyes trying to find the address but couldn't, he  stopped the non-mages to ask them about the address but they avoided him instead thinking he was a mage because of the way he was dressed and they didn't want anything to do with the mages.

He went to a cheap clothing store and grabbed himself the brown clothes, they were of poor fabric but this was better than him being seen as an outcast. 

He went back to the road and when he asked a group of women who were passing by, they directed him right away to where his mother's house was.

Tonny walked excitedly, he bought a few flowers by the road side using the coins that he was left with and walked to the house they had directed him.

It was a small  old building with a few flowers that were planted on the front of the house. His mother liked flowers alot and there was no doubt that she was the one.

He held his breath and released it before knocking on the door. After a few minutes, the  door opened.
