Getting Started

The transport vehicles screeched to a halt at the edge of the exclusion zone. Jaden leapt out, his senses immediately assaulted by the chaos before him. The anomaly pulsed at the center of downtown, a writhing mass of energy that defied description. Reality itself seemed to bend and warp around it, buildings twisting into impossible shapes, gravity fluctuating wildly.

"My God," Zoe breathed beside him, her hands already crackling with energy. "It's worse than we thought."

Jaden nodded grimly, shadows coiling around him in response to the threat. "Alright, listen up!" he called out to the assembled team of powered individuals and military personnel. "Our priority is evacuation. Marcus, Zoe, you're with me on containment. The rest of you, fan out and get any remaining civilians to safety."
