Powerless

“Dr. Marble said he knows how to treat him!” Mrs Millers replied.

“So you just believe everything he says? Would you jump off a building if he told you to?!” Henry insisted.

“You…” Mrs Millers started, but she was at a loss for words.

“Enough talking! Get out of my way!”

Henry said. His relentless manner made everyone freeze.

Ignoring the crowd’s shocked expression, Henry grabbed a glass of warm water and slowly mixed in some antidote powder. He fed it to the old man slowly.

Although he could cure the old man with his equipment, it would take too much time and effort compared to giving him this antidote. After all, it had taken Dr. Paul Hermon three years of hard work.

“Are you sure this will work?” Emily questioned with a frown, clearly still filled with doubt.

“Effective or not, you will see in a minute,” Henry replied hastily.

“Humph! How ridiculous! You think you can cure the illness pneumonia with some random powder? Do you think you’re some wizard?!” the doctor chastise
