Ch 16: The Orc girl again

Naruth couldn’t believe who else was here at this spot looking with her own eyes from a distance away a young grown green Orc female stood.

One side of the head is shaved off and the other is still filled with the night-color hair hanging by the side.

There are two small Turks each at the side of the mouth that wouldn’t be too hard to miss and the eyes are black.

She was covered by a well-crafted cloth that was over the top, Botham's waist, and the feet as it was made no doubt from animal hide.

"What are you doing here, you have no right to be at this spot.”

“What are you talking about, I have every right to be here just as you don’t be an elf-like you remember, I was there as well when little.”

“Yes it was something, I thought to forget long ago, and now that a green skin like yourself has brought it, forgetting it again isn’t going to be easy to do.”

“Still got a problem with me after all these years, what is it going to take for you to like me?”

The female Orc sighs and then takes a few steps forward towards Naruth being that she doesn't want this person getting anywhere near her.

Yet the girl took note of something important: there were some bruises on her body.

“Tell me Glasha, why is your body covered like that? Have you just been in a fight before getting here?”

“Oh this yeah, I have with my father, he was trying to get in my way from leaving the village and go seek Ethons, I had to beat him to make that happen and thanks to all the training, I won.”

“Leave for what reason you have to.”

“Isn’t that clear to me being here like, I said I am going to find him too.”

Glasha smiled after that was said and Naruth didn’t like to hear that little annoyance.

“I told you that I am the only one going to find him, you can just head back to your Orc village to do whatever your kind does with your life.”

“That is not going to happen if my father couldn’t stop me from doing it, what makes you think just by telling me? Is going to work.”

“Your right words alone don’t work on Orc violence is it better to use them against you?”

Naruth takes out her bow that she has been training with for years non-stop till this girl reaches the point of being the best out of the rest of the wood elf people in the village.

“Oh! Is this we going to finally fight each other, I always wanted it to happen, so you better show me what you got you hear me.”

Glasha takes out her weapon two sets of half-axes that were hanging by her sides.

“I make sure not to go too hard on with these axes my mother gifted me since an elf-like you is so fragile when it comes to a fight."

“Do you think there is any chance of you making any sort of contact with me before this arrow hits right between your eyes?"

The two stare at each other in the eyes, giving a moment to pass or waiting for who is going to make the first move in this fight to start.

“No, stay back! Someone  help us!.”

A cry for help coming somewhere in this forest caught the girls off guard.

“That doesn’t sound good.”

“No, it does not.”

A second no longer the Orc girl took action charging in one direction believing it to be where that noise came from.

Naruth for a moment couldn’t believe that Glasha would head that way like that without a thought to how dangerous it could be.

Yet not wanting to stand there, the elf girl goes after the Orc girl where in a short time both come to find three human children surrounded by a beastly pack of wolves.

“Oh, those are humans and they are small.”

“You idiot there, not adult humans, these are human children and they need our help right away.”

Naruth makes a move having an arrow placed in the bow drawing back quickly and firing at any of the wolves not taking notice of her.

A hit was made when one of the wolves let out a painful cry when its side was impaled by the head of the arrow going in.

The rest of the pact now turn their heads to the elf girl with the bow already reloaded with another arrow to shoot.

“Well, I like the way you think Naruth doesn't keep all the fun to himself.”

Now Glasha enters having already taken those two axes out, she charges right at the pack of wolves with no fear and no mercy when slashing these creatures.

Being attacked by an elf and Orc unexpectedly nowhere had the remaining pack run away for their lives and when gone all that was left was those two along with the human children.

Those kids were in a shocking state of amazement and fear when staring at the female elf and Orc looking cool as they stood.

“So care to tell me the reason you 3 humans are here with no adults.”

Naruth looks at them, noting there are two males and one female human in this small group.

“We… we want… to see if elves were living here.”

One of the males was brave enough to speak and answer.

“Is that the reason well you learn they are seeing me in front of your eyes and now you 3 can go back to your home since it is not safe for any of you to be here.”

“There is no right to kick the human kids out like that after risking their lives to find you long-ears at least someone like yourself could tell them a little about your people.”

“I have no time for this, there is something more important to do instead of entertaining some human kids.”

“Whatever hey you human kids want to know about us Orcs.”

Glasha took one step forward while at the same time they took a step back out of fear of the big Orc lady in front of them.

“What are you doing there? No reason to be scared of me since I just saved you guys from the bad wolves.”

“If you have noticed by now there is some of that wolf blood on you and for the fact, humans are not great fans of Orcs.”

“Why not.”

Naruth didn’t answer her, walking forward to the kids to speak with them.

“Look here, I am going to lead you out of the forest, so you can go back to your home.”

“Alright.” All three of them answer at the same time.

“Good then let go before something else bad decides to pop out.”

All of them start to walk together for a time as Naruth has to deal with question after question from the kids bothering her about the girl kind until they reach out of the forest.

“Finally we are left with no more questions for me to deal with, thank the earth. Anyway, you know where to go from here to get back right.”

“Yeah thank you so much elf lady it was great to meet with someone like you and hope we can meet each other again.”

“Yeah, it's not possible to happen again.” Naruth kept that thought to herself while just smiling at them.

She watches as the three human kids run toward one direction leading back home then they stop looking back at her and the Orc lady.

“Thank you both for saving us.” together they say their goodbye before truly leaving.

"Did you hear that they thank me as well and look like they weren't that afraid of me?"

"Good job you made some progress with human children, that 's one big step."

After that the two went quiet, having nothing more to say it took Naruth to break it off.

"Alright look, our fight could be postponed for another time. Let's just work together for a time when searching for Ethons and when we do well finger out could be done then."

"That sounds good with me best that way to see who will be the one to take Ethons as their husband."

"Yes, we'll see…. What on mother earth did you say!."

《2 weeks later》

“Man it's weird to be traveling alone now after 2 weeks pass since I and him parted ways.”

Ethons was hanging on a tree branch enjoying the nice weather that was out today while eating an apple.

Days he walks thinking about what to do on his own with not many opinions to take being a cursed dragon born and all.

So far he thought of just entering another town and seeing what the place has to offer.

Lucky Ethons gains information from some local villages telling him about a town called Lindow; it was a nice and growing place with a decent population over there.

Learning that he set to make way over there and as of now close to reaching the town.

“Hm, I wonder what to do in this town that has to be something good.”

Taking a bite from an apple while thinking with his thoughts right at the moment there was some noise Ethons was picking up from his long high sense ears.

The sounds give off a feeling of nothing being good and he couldn’t ignore it when jumping off the tree and making his way to its location.

Arriving on a road witnessing one girl lean against a tree looking to be bothered by a male with two others standing behind with not such trusting smiles.

They didn’t seem quite the type a girl or anyone for that matter would trust

“Look there's no reason to get all scared of us, we're friendly guys here not going to hurt you. We just thought you would like to hang out with us somewhere nice, private, and fun.”

“i..I... I….” The girl was having difficulty talking at the time with being cornered up on a tree with this man placing a hand by the side of the tree while talking to her.

“So how about it come with us and we are going to have a blast of a time don’t you agree guys.”

“Yeah, we are.”

“No doubt about it being a good time for us.”

Ethons see the guy going in to grab her hand and she looks too scared in resisting him.

“Hey, I think it best to leave the girl alone given that you are bothering way too much.”

All their attention was all turned to see this elf with long blonde hair walking toward them.

“An elf huh what business of you to butt in since it is not your kind style to concern themselves with humans matter like this. So if you don’t want to get in any trouble better you keep on walking on do you understand.”

“Nope, I don’t want to walk away from what you 3 are planning to do with this girl isn’t going to sit right with me.”

“Alright listen to what I am going to say….”

Ethons punches the guy straight in the face sending him to fall hard on his back.

“Yeah, I think this punch I just threw should make it more clear as my answer.”
