EMILY POINT OF VIEW

The slam of my bedroom door barely seemed to calm me. Every time I saw Adrian, I have this strange feelings. Adrian had just… vanished, no warning, no explanation. When I needed him most, he wasn’t there. The nerve of that guy!

I took a deep breath and called Ashley, hoping she could help take my mind off things. “Ashley, are you around?” I asked, knowing she was usually in her room after lunch.

"Yep," she called from the hallway, poking her head into my room. "So, you finally met up with your runaway driver?” she teased with a grin.

I groaned." He thinks he can just do whatever he wants. I was stuck waiting for over an hour!"

Ashley shrugged. "Maybe he just doesn’t like being bossed around," she teased, laughing.

"Oh, please," I rolled my eyes. "He’s just a driver. But he acts like he’s above it all."
