Chapter forty eight

Everyone watched stunned as Alegria walked in. She went to the podium and made an eye contact with her husband's defense attorney before she turned to look at Micheal.

He was surprised as well but soon sighed with relief at the fact that Alegria hadn't left the court like he had thought.

She gave him a reassuring smile.

"Permit me your honor to provide a concrete proof and evidence as regards the case." Silas told the judge. If the prosection thought they were the only party with proof to implicate his client, well, he was more than willing to show them all that he had something much better to clear Micheal's name and make them win the case.

"What proof can you bring before the court to convince us that your client is not a rapist? You must have cooked up something within the short while this woman was out of here." The prosecution attorney whose name was later discovered to be Jonas spoke coldly with a scoff as he eyed Alegria.
