Chapter 004- Different Thoughts

The sun slowly rises while the birds chirp outside, signaling the start of a new day. It's the weekend, so there wasn't a need in rushing to get out of bed and get ready for work.

Welbeck stretched his arms and legs, feeling relaxed and refreshed after a good night's sleep.

As he lays in bed, he thinks about what he wants to do today. Maybe he has plans with friends or family, or maybe you just want to spend a quiet day at home. Whatever the case is, he's excited about the possibilities.

He gets up and makes himself a cup of coffee or tea, enjoying the warmth and aroma as he takes a sip. He turns on some calming music and reads the news while he waits for his wife to wake up.

Keira was still not woken from her slumber.

As the morning progresses, he decides to get dressed and head out for a workout session but he was thinking if he could opt for a more leisurely morning and take a long shower or soak in the tub before making breakfast.

The smell of pancakes, bacon, and eggs fills the air as he cooks up a delicious meal for himself and Keira.

He sits down and goes to wake Keira up from her sleep.

He kissed her forehead and told her the breakfast was ready.

"I already prepared dinner, come and let's enjoy the food and talk about your plans for the day ahead."

He said and left Keira to settle herself.

Keira let out a contented sigh as she stretched her arms above her head. She had slept soundly last night, and her body felt refreshed and energized. As she got out of bed and walked towards the bathroom, she heard the sound of sizzling bacon and the aroma of fresh coffee wafting up the stairs. She smiled to herself - her husband must have been up early to prepare breakfast.

Feeling grateful and loved, she quickly showered and got dressed before heading downstairs to the kitchen. As she entered the room, her husband turned around and flashed a wide grin.

"Good morning, Keira. How did you sleep?" he asked, placing a plate of eggs and bacon on the table.

"I slept like a baby," she replied, walking over to the counter to pour herself a cup of steaming coffee. "This smells amazing, thank you."

Welbeck beamed with pride, happy to see her enjoying the meal he had prepared. They sat down together at the table, chatting about their plans for the day while they ate.

As they finished their breakfast, Keira couldn't help but feel a sense of warmth and contentment. Welbeck had always been so thoughtful and caring, and she realized how lucky she was to have him in her life.

"You know I love you, right?" she said, taking his hand across the table.

"I know," he replied, squeezing her hand gently. "And I love you too. I just want to make sure you start your day off on the right foot."

"I'm still having plans for our wedding".

Welbeck said.

Keira melted into his embrace, feeling completely at ease and home. She knew that no matter what challenges the day may bring, she had someone in her corner who was always ready to support and love her. And that was all that mattered.

Just as they were having their meal, Welbeck interrupted Keira's speech by telling her about a client he was going to meet.

Welbeck tells his fiancé Keira that he's going to prepare himself and meet his client, he has no idea what fate has in store for him. He's been working in the company for the past two years and has always met his clients with utmost diligence and professionalism. However, as he embarks upon this new venture, he feels something amiss.

Welbeck experiences a strange premonition that this meeting was not going to be like any other. He tries to shrug it off and focus on preparing for the presentation. But as he reaches the meeting venue, he realizes that he's forgotten his presentation and laptop at home. Panic-stricken, he rushes back to his car to fetch his equipment. He returns to the office just in time, only to find his client waiting impatiently.

As Welbeck begins his presentation, he feels more anxious. The client seems distracted, and Welbeck has a hard time maintaining focus. Suddenly, the client gives him a strange book and asks him to read it. Welbeck was taken aback by this sudden request but decided to comply with it, thinking it might be related to the project they were working on.

As he tries to make sense of the mystical knowledge gained from the book, Welbeck finds himself drawn into a world of conspiracies and secrets. He soon realizes that he's not the only one who has stumbled upon the book's hidden secrets, and his life is in grave danger.

He then figures out that his time to explore was due, he thanks the client and beamed at the client, telling him how he was prepared to manage various institutions.

The client thanked him for the comportment and made his way out of the office.

Welbeck was left in a deep sense of thinking.

He took a deep breath and stood up from the settee.

Walking out, was with his briefcase and a brown envelope he held in his hands.

Welbeck had spent the whole afternoon inside his office, typing away on his computer, and attending virtual meetings. As he got off work, he looked outside and was relieved to see that the sun was shining down on the bustling streets of the city. It was the perfect weather for a drive.

He made his way to the parking lot and climbed into his car, the engine coming to life with a gentle roar. Welbeck knew exactly where he wanted to go. He would drive through the city streets, looking for an open highway where he could open up the car and feel the wind rushing through his hair.

The traffic was heavy, but as soon as he got to the highway, it cleared up. Welbeck turned up the radio and let the music wash over him, feeling the tension of work slowly melting away. It was as if the warm sun and fresh air had a calming effect on him.

As he drove further into the countryside, the scenery changed dramatically. The buildings and concrete structures of the city gave way to rolling hills and fields of green, the sun casting a warm golden glow over everything.

Welbeck took a deep breath and felt the stress of the day slowly dissipating. Thoughts of work, deadlines, and meetings began to fade away as he took in the breathtaking surroundings.

For the next few hours, Welbeck drove along the winding roads, stopping only to take in the scenic views and grab some food. He felt free again like he had been given a chance to reset and recharge his batteries.

As the sun began to set, Welbeck knew that he would have to return to reality. He headed back towards the city, navigating his way through the evening traffic.

As he pulled into his driveway, he realized that the quick escape from his office had rejuvenated him. Welbeck knew that he would be better equipped to tackle his work with a clear mind and renewed energy.

The short drive had been all he needed to find some peace and escape the chaos of the daily grind, if only for a few hours.

After making amendments to his car, he sat in his car, staring at the endless line of traffic in front of him. Cars were still bumper to bumper, and the honking was incessant. He had spent over two hours in the traffic, and his head was pounding from the stress. All he wanted was to get home and take a hot shower to wash away the tension.

When he finally pulled into his driveway, Welbeck let out a sigh of relief. He turned off the ignition and took a few deep breaths, trying to calm himself down before getting out of the car.

As he stepped out onto his front porch, Welbeck could hear the sound of Keira's laughter coming from the living room. He smiled as he pushed open the front door and walked inside, already feeling his stress levels begin to decrease.

Keira greeted him with a warm hug, and he felt the last of his tension release. He took a deep breath, enjoying the sense of relief that filled his body.

Over dinner, Welbeck recounted his stressful day to his fiancee. She listened patiently, offering words of encouragement and support. He felt grateful for their love and support, and it helped him to put things in perspective.

After dinner, Welbeck headed to the bathroom for his shower. He turned on the hot water and let it wash over him, feeling it ease the tension in his muscles. As he stood there, he realized that he needed to find a better way to deal with his daily stress.

Welbeck made a plan to incorporate some exercise and mindfulness techniques into his daily routine. He knew he needed to make time for self-care, to avoid getting overwhelmed by the constant pressure of his job.

As he stepped out of the shower, Welbeck felt a renewed sense of calm and energy. He knew that the stress of traffic and work would always be there, but with the right mindset and support system, he could handle it.

The air in the evening had a welcoming chill that enveloped the outside world with a sense of calmness and serenity. The sun had slowly set, painting the sky with breathtaking shades of red, orange, and pink. And as the nights settled in, the cool breeze began to gently brush past the trees, creating a delightful rustling sound.

With the earlier heat of the day now faded, and the sky dimmed every minute, there was a sense of peace in the neighborhood. The sounds of voices and cars slowly muted, making a lullaby of their own. The air was refreshed and the surroundings felt quiet.

As the night grew darker, the chilly evening air began to crawl into Welbeck's home, reminding them of the warmth of beds and blankets. It was time to retire for the night.

Keira was getting ready for bed. She walked around the room, picking up a stray shirt and turning off the lights. She sang herself a lullaby that the crisp evening air had gifted her, as she tucked herself under the warm covers of her bed. With her head resting on her pillow, Keira felt the air slowly drag her off to sleep.

The cool breeze that brushed past her window welcomed her into a dream state. In her dreams, she saw herself running around in a vast, open field, the breeze whipping through her hair, rejuvenating her in an endless loop. The air of the evening had been soothing and nurturing to her, helping her to relax and inviting her into the world of dreamy dreams.

It was as if the evening air was a tangible force that had the power to whisk one away into a peaceful state of mind and even influence their dreams, a testament to the therapeutic nature of the world and all it offers. As Keira finally drifted off to sleep, she was grateful for the refreshing air that had lulled her into a deep, rejuvenating slumber.

She woke up to see Welbeck with his laptop, seated on the couch in the bedroom.

She yawned and went to have her bath.

It was a beautiful day on the 8th of May and she was dressed and came to sit on her porch enjoying the sunshine. Her thoughts were on her daughter's Mom, who had recently wanted her to marry a man named Gabriel.

Though Keira had never met Gabriel in person, she had heard a few things about him from Mom that he was super rich.

Madam Smith knew that her daughter was in love, but she couldn't shake the feeling that something wasn't right. Taking a deep breath, she picked up her phone and dialed Keira's number.

"Hey, Mom," Keira answered. "How are you?"

"I'm doing well, thanks," Keira replied. "I just wanted to check in and see how you're doing."

Keira sensed the unease in her mother's voice and questioned, "Is something wrong, Mom?"

"I just wanted to ask about Gabriel," Her mom said. "You haven't met him yet, and I can't help but feel worried about how things are going between you two."

Keir was taken aback by her mother's words. She had been so caught up in the worries of being engaged, that she hadn't given much thought to how her mother felt about it.

"Mom, Welbeck is a great guy," Keira reassured her. "We love each other, and he's been nothing but supportive."

"I know that honey," Madam Smith said. "I just want to make sure that you're happy and that he's treating you well."

Keira paused for a moment before replying, "He is, Mom. But I appreciate your concern."

Madam Smith let out a sigh of relief. She knew that Keira was a grown woman who could make her own choices, but she wanted to make sure that her daughter wasn't settling for less than she deserved.

"I just want what’s best for you, Keira," Mr.Smith said. "If you ever need anything, you know that I'm here for you, right?"

Keira smiled, "Of course, Mom. I love you."

"I love you too, honey," Madam Smith said, hanging up the phone and leaning back in her chair.

While Madam Smith still harbored some concerns about Welbeck, she was comforted in knowing that her daughter was happy, and surrounded by her love. She made a promise to herself to be there for her daughter.

She seemed to feel low on herself if Welbeck was going to be the husband of his daughter.

Her mind was on wealth since her husband was a trillionaire, she needed a wealthy man to marry her daughter and run her husband's company for the family if Mr.Smith wasn't around.

She gasped for breath and went to the living hall, waiting for Mr. Smith.
