"Your mother," Henry answered curtly. Then, he sat down on a chair, right beside Lily's bed.

"I'll turn on the loudspeaker," Lily said.

Henry nodded his head.

“Lily, where are you now? How is your condition? You must be pretending to be sick, right? Are you currently in that slum flat?” asked Catherine when Lily picked up the phone.

“Mom, I'm in the hospital now. What makes you call me?” she asked.

"Shouldn't I be calling you? I am your mother! Is it not permissible for a mother to call her own biological daughter?” said Catherine with annoyance.

Lily took a deep breath and let it out slowly. Always like this. Every time she talked to Catherine, they would fight.

“Well, okay. Mommy can call me. So, what's wrong?" said Lily lowering her voice.

"What hospital are you at? Surely your husband chose the cheapest room right?” asked Catherine contemptuously.

“Mommy is wrong, I am currently in the VIP room. Please just check here if you don't believe it!”

Catherine groaned, “Bullshit! Do you think I will just believe you?”

"Did you call just to insult my husband, Mom?” Lily asked.

“Of course not, I just wanted to tell you… that your father and I are preparing divorce papers between you and Henry. Just so you know, Albert just gifted a very luxurious car. He also delivered diamonds for us. We have make a decision, and you must comply with our order. You 're going to marry Albert!”

Lily's emotions immediately rose to a head, immediately she shouted at her mother. "No! Do you think you can sell me to that old fart? Do you realize that his wife has two already? Then, you will sell me to him for treasure? This is too much, Mom!”

“Lily, as long as he can give you a decent life, becoming the third wife is no big deal! What does it mean to be the only wife, but live in poverty? I tell you that I know if all this time you have survived from your jewelery that you sold one by one!” she snapped.

"I will never divorce Henry! Henry will make me happy more than you think.”

“How come? He just doesn't have money and a jobless."

"Do you want to be a disobedience daughter?"

The woman was clenching her fists tightly. She was very annoyed with the answer given by Lily. Of course, Catherine really wanted Lily to marry Albert who was rich and ready to give everything for their family.

"I don't care what Mommy says. I don't feel like I'm a rebellious child, because so far I've always respected and valued you as my parents. However, you as parents never respect what is my choice. Don't expect me to sign the divorce papers!”

“Listen! You don't have a choice because Albert has also prepared your wedding party!”

In his seat, Henry took a deep breath holding back the emotions that were about to explode. Henry thought, Albert Brown would pay dearly for disturbing his little family!
