The Billionaire Husband in Disguise, Chapter 3

Richard Forger gulped, he didn't expect that the young girl who had just let him in was now in trouble because of him.

"Miss, I have a card..." Richard intended to answer Bellatrix's accusation against Daisy but Bellatrix immediately pointed her finger right at Richard's forehead.

“Damn! Who gave you permission to speak to me? Shit, I'm talking to my stupid cousin!" Bellatrix then turned to point her finger at Daisy who looked down uncomfortable.

“Bella, she brought an invitation card from our grandpa. Trust me… We have to welcome him or…”

"I do not care! As usual, every decision you make will end in disaster. This time, I warn you again! Get rid of this bum or…”

Bellatrix had not yet had time to continue her sentence when from behind, came the voice of a typical old woman's scolding, she was Sandra Miller, a woman in her seventies who is the wife of James Miller. Sandra hates commotion even though at the same time she is someone who often makes noise.

“Are you guys trying to kill me by making a fuss like this, heh? You hope my blood pressure goes up? Oh, you uncivilized grandsons!” Sandra Miller waved her hand at Daisy and Bellatrix, when her hand accidentally pointed at Richard, Sandra reflexively stepped back and covered her mouth with both hands.

"Wait! Who gave him permission to trash my living room?!” Sandra screamed in disbelief.

Sandra's screams made Richard even more clumsy, for reasons incomprehensible, he felt sorry for Daisy because Bellatrix and Sandra's anger would rest on the poor girl. Unfortunately, Sandra's screams in the end succeeded in making one more person in the Miller family come to the living room.

Not much different from Bellatrix, the person who came into the living room immediately gave Richard a sinister look.

"Didn't we tell security that we're not hiring a maid?" Nancy who was the mother of Bellatrix frowned observing Richard.

“He looks like a garbage collector, oh, our house doesn't even have trash. Rather, for now, he seems even more like trash in this house!” Bellatrix sneered at Richard then briefly explained to her mother how Richard had gotten into the living room.

“Mom, Bella was right! You need to teach even harder on Daisy. Look what she's doing, it seems like Daisy's brain is getting dumber all the time!” Nancy said while stroking Bellatrix's shoulder, as if her heart was speaking. 'What a blessing that I have a brilliant daughter like Bella. The Miller family estate will flow even more to the brilliant granddaughter!’

"All of you! Do not blame Miss Daisy!! Look, I have this card and I should have met Mister Miller by now!” In the end, Richard held up a black card resembling a football referee issuing a red card.

Everyone in the living room still wanted to sneer at Richard, but the black card in Richard's hand immediately distracted them.

"My husband is overseas on business for the next three months." Sandra took a deep breath, the black card in Richard's hand was not just any ordinary card. Not wanting to get her husband's wrath, Sandra slowly approached Richard to check the authenticity of the card.

Richard confidently handed over the black card in his hand. As Richard predicted, Sandra shook her head in disbelief.

"Damn! This card is real!” Sandra cursed under her breath, then turned to Bellatrix and made an order. "Bella, get your laptop, put a teleconference on James and let's hear everything from him."

For the first time, Daisy could breathe a sigh of relief.

At that time, everyone was sitting in the living room with laptops at the table holding a teleconference with James Miller.

“What made you gather and contact me?”

From the laptop screen, it appears that James Miller is eating a meal at a large overseas restaurant.

“My Beloved husband, would see that young man? Do you really know him?” Sandra asked James Miller to observe Richard.

Instantly, James Miller choked. He quickly drank and then straightened his position.

“Richard Forger?!” shouted James Miller in disbelief. "Richard, you're finally here!"

Everyone in the living room gulped in disbelief. The homeless man they despise actually has a close relationship with James Miller.

"Mister James, where is my future wife you promised me? I accept it and want the wedding to be held in the next few days.”

Richard's questions and statements were literally like a thunder in broad daylight. Daisy, Bellatrix, Sandra and Nancy were all surprised together. When they wanted to respond to Richard's words, from the laptop screen, James made a gesture for everyone to be quiet.

“Richard, what a coincidence your future wife is there. My granddaughter named Bella, she is the most intelligent and independent. She is for you." James Miller pointed at Bellatrix with a proud smile.

"Grandpa! What is this? Grandpa wants to destroy my future? How could the brilliant of me have to end up marrying a pitiful man like him? No! I'm seriously allergic to crappy guys like him!”

Bellatrix wanted to say more but Nancy stopped her. Nancy did not approve of her father's odd decision, but, as members of the Miller family, they had no right to show impoliteness in front of James Miller.

“Father…” Nancy tried to soften her tone. “Bella is brilliant, as my father always knew. But for a wedding case, I, as her mother, really understand that Bella's mentality is still far from there. Um… I think Daisy is even more ready to be a wife than Bella. Look at Daisy, she can't do anything in the office, maybe she did it on purpose because she wanted to get married."

Nancy pretended to glance at Daisy with a gentle look. In truth, she wanted to plunge Daisy into marrying the lousy Richard.

Daisy shook her head. Her position as granddaughter in the Miller family was bad enough because many of the projects she worked on ended up failing miserably. If it was added to having to marry a lousy man, she believes her future will be even more bleak. Daisy showed a begging expression while shaking her head at her grandfather, like asking James Miller not to marry her to Richard.

When he saw the events before his eyes, Richard had his own decision. He cleared his throat and made everyone turn towards him.

“Mr. James, Bella doesn't seem to suit on me. On the other hand, I think Daisy fits better.”

"Ha ha ha! Of course Daisy suits you, you two suck!” Bellatrix burst out laughing but a second later, Nancy's hand landed hard on Bella's cheek.

“Look, father! This kid still needs guidance! It seems that Daisy is the most suitable for married life.”

Bellatrix wanted to complain but she knew her mother was trying to convince her grandfather not to set her up with Richard.

"How about you, James?" Sandra, who had been silent for a while, finally spoke up. "You chose Bella, Richard chose Daisy. What's your decision?"

James Miller observed everything, then spoke with conviction.

“Daisy! Daisy will be getting married to Richard in three days!”

Bellatrix and Nancy screamed with joy inside while Daisy let out a disappointed sigh.

'Daisy, you may be sad for now. But believe me, I will be a suitable husband for you.’ Richard said in his head.

"Mother." Bellatrix whispered to Nancy. “The Millers now have two toys. If we get tired of playing with Daisy, we'll get solace from her lousy husband. Hi hi hi… it will be much more interesting!”
