CHAPTER 11

Jack felt a little less angry when he heard Ryan's confession. He knew it was scary to lose someone you care about, but it's not good to keep important things a secret. He looked at Sarah and saw that she was sad. Then he looked at Ryan.

"I understand that you were afraid, Ryan," said Jack, speaking more gently and with sympathy in his voice. Not telling me where Sarah was made us all at risk. We're a team and we have to believe in one another.

Sarah's face changed as she heard what Jack said. She realized that Ryan did what he did because he was scared, not because he wanted to hurt anyone. She moved nearer to Ryan and softly touched his arm.

"We're all in this together," she said quietly, her voice showing that she understood. "We need to tell the truth to each other, especially when our safety is in danger. "

Ryan agreed, he felt both glad and sorry. He realized he made a mistake by not being honest with his friends, and he was thankful they forgave him.

"Sorry," Ryan said honestly, while looking at Jack and Sarah. I should have been honest with you from the start. I will improve.

Jack took a deep breath and relaxed, then nodded his head to show he agreed. "I forgive you, Ryan," he said with a little smile. "Let's work together to move forward as a team. “

Jack, Sarah, Emily, and Ryan were all good friends and were ready to face any problems together. They knew that being honest, trusting each other, and working together would help them solve any problems they faced.

As they kept going, Jack felt like Ryan was hiding something and hadn't told him everything. However, for now, he chose to ignore it, believing that Ryan would talk about it when he's ready.

Even though the morning was calm, Jack still felt uneasy around Ryan. As they walked together on the curvy path, Jack kept looking at his friend, trying to see if there was any tension between them.

Ryan, who is usually funny and supportive, seemed to be in his own thoughts and not very present. He looked serious and focused, with a tight-lipped expression as he gazed into the distance.

Jack felt guilty inside and let out a sigh. He realized he couldn't avoid the problem anymore. Their friendship was always based on being truthful and trusting each other. He couldn't stand the idea of letting their problems come between them.

Jack took a big breath and walked slower until he was walking next to Ryan at the same speed. He coughed to break the silence between them.

"Hi, Ryan," said Jack, speaking softly but firmly. "Can we speak for a little bit. "

Ryan looked at Jack and was a little surprised, but then he nodded. "Okay, Jack," he said, sounding a little unsure. "What are you thinking about? "

Jack waited for a short time and thought carefully about what he wanted to say. He knew he needed to be careful when talking, but he also knew he couldn't avoid the issue anymore.

Jack said, "It's about before," while looking ahead. "When you said you knew where Sarah was. “

Ryan’s face showed a little tension and he seemed a little uneasy for a moment. "Okay," he said softly, his voice hard to hear because of the sound of the leaves moving in the wind. I should've told you sooner, Jack. I didn't know how to explain it. Please rewrite the text you are referring to, and I will be happy to help simplify it for you.

Jack nodded, and suddenly he understood everything clearly. He realized that Ryan didn't want to speak up because he was honestly unsure and scared, not because he was trying to be mean or deceitful.

"I understand, Ryan," Jack said quietly, putting his hand on his friend's shoulder. "But not telling me about something like that. " "It made us all unsafe, you know. "

Ryan felt a little scared when Jack said something, and his shoulders get tight when Jack touched him. He realized he did something wrong that could have really hurt the whole group. However, even though he felt sorry, he couldn't get rid of the feeling of fear in his stomach.

"I understand, Jack," Ryan said quietly, feeling very sorry. "I'm sorry" I never wanted to hurt any of you. I was only afraid, you know. Afraid of what could happen if we chased after her.

Jack gently pressed on Ryan's shoulder to show that he cared, and he gave him a small, kind smile to let him know that he understood. "I understand, Ryan," he said softly. "But remember, we are a team and we are all in this together. "We need to rely on each other, even when things are difficult. "

Ryan nodded, feeling relieved and happy. He knew he did something wrong, but he also knew that Jack was correct. They were a group of friends who trusted and cared for each other. They would have to depend on each other to safely complete the journey.

"Thank you, Jack," Ryan said softly, sounding thankful. I promise to do whatever it takes to fix things from now on.

Jack was happy and felt relieved when he looked at his friend. He knew their friendship was really strong and no matter what problems they faced, they could get through them together.

"Sounds good, Ryan," Jack said, giving him a friendly pat on the back. "Now, let's go. " Let's meet up with the others. Do you remember we still need to finish our journey.

Jack and Ryan felt more sure of themselves as they walked side by side, their steps making a rhythmic sound as they kept moving forward. They didn't know what was going to happen, but they were ready to face it with courage and determination.

In the morning, the sun's light came through the trees and made designs on the ground.

I sat at a table with Sarah and some other people, and the campfire was shining on our faces. The air was buzzing with excitement and urgency as we gathered to plan our next steps on this risky journey.

Sarah looked at an old map with torn edges and yellowed with age. She was determined as she followed the paths and trails on the map with her finger.

Sarah said confidently that we should go to the northeast from here. "There is a small and narrow path in between the mountains. If we can travel through it without any problems, we should be able to reach the entrance of the old temple directly. "

I agreed and felt excited to finally reach where we were going. My heart was racing. The temple had the answers we needed, and I knew we were getting closer to finding out the truth with every step we took.

"The gorge is very dangerous," Emily interrupted, looking worried as she looked at the map. "There are rocks falling and flooding happening in the area. " We have to be careful if we want to get through safely.

I looked at Emily and was thankful for her ability to notice things and pay close attention to details. She always gave us good advice and reminded us about the dangers we might face on our journey.

"I agreed," I said firmly. "We need to be careful and pay attention as we go through the gorge. " "But if we stay together and look out for each other, I am sure we can get through it safely. “

Sarah said yes by moving her head up and down. We looked at each other and knew what the other was thinking without talking. She and I both knew that we had to work together as a team to succeed. We would use each other's strengths and help each other when things get hard.

Sarah said that we should be ready for anything when we get to the temple. "We don't know what problems or risks may be inside the old buildings. " We have to stay focused and be prepared for anything that happens.
