Chapter 5

"I'm reborn?" Shawn did feel his body become fresher and lighter. Was this what was called being born again?

Before, his body often felt stiff from being tired from work, but now he felt he could do anything.

Instantly, he wondered if he could try something he had never done before. Shawn took a step, and then he jumped into a backflip. It turns out that he succeeded in one try.

Shawn immediately smiled, and his eyes opened wide, "Awesome!"

Then Shawn also did some moves that he saw in MMA matches, such as punching and kicking, and it turned out that he could do it easily using this body.

As Shawn was engrossed in his body, he suddenly felt weak. He also realised that his stomach felt very empty and kept making noises.

Shawn held his stomach, "Is it the effect of the rebirth potion? It's only natural for me to be so hungry. Drastic body changes like this must waste a lot of energy."

Shawn took his jacket and went outside. His destination was Mrs. Smith's barbeque stall. Shawn would occasionally eat at this place if he had the money.

Viona Smith, the owner's daughter, came over to Shawn, who was sitting in the corner. The girl with short hair and wearing shorts smiled with her thin lips as she bent her waist.

She raised eyebrows, "It's been a while since you've been here, Mr. Shawn. What would you like to order today?"

Shawn looked at Viona from toe to head. It was unusual for the girl to be wearing shorts. "I'll have my usual..."

Shawn's stomach churned as he said that. It seemed like the energy used for transformation was more than Shawn had imagined. "I also requested another menu. One serving of each menu."

Viona's face instantly changed. She glared while blinking her eyes a few times. She was astonished by Shawn's order. "Complete package? Is today your payday?"

Shawn replied with a hesitant smile. "I'm lucky today."

Viona hurriedly recorded the customer's order with this unexpected order. She looked enthusiastic. "Alright, please wait a moment."

Shawn nodded back. He felt great that he could order the entire menu at this stall, unlike before. Back then, he could only order the cheapest barbeque. However, now he could eat other delicious menus thanks to the Black Card he now had.

A moment later, Viona came in with a glass of Shawn's usual drink, iced lemon tea. However, her face looked uncomfortable, and her forehead wrinkled. It all happened because there were three drunks in the centre of the room. They had been staring at Viona's slim and smooth body.

When Viona walked past them, one of them named Lewis, stood in front of Viona.

With a flushed face and eyes reddened from drunkenness, Lewis smiled. "Viona, you're very sexy today. Why don't you come with us for a while? You know me, right? I'm a frequent customer here, Lewis. I'm sure we'll get along quickly," he said with a mouthful of disgusting alcoholic odour.

Disgust. The taste of the words that came out of Lewis' mouth was disgusting to Viona. Especially when she saw Lewis's two friends -Rony and Edgar, laughing when Lewis tried to tease her.

Viona replied with a bitter smile. "Sorry, I'm working. Please don't disturb me."

Lewis immediately raised his hand to face height. "Oops! Of course. Of course, you're working. Just deliver the drinks and come back to us later. I have a lot of things I want to talk to you about."

Viona shifted her gaze to the lower right. "Damn...," she muttered softly.

Lewis then stepped aside and, with a gesture of his hand, invited Viona to continue her work.

As Viona placed the glass on Shawn's desk, Shawn glanced at the three drunks. "They're still looking at you," Shawn said as he glanced at Viona.

Viona's face became tense. "Yes. I know. They're annoying. Here's your drink. I'll be back with all your orders," Viona said with a smile.

Viona turned around and headed for the kitchen. However, Lewis grabbed her hand. Viona struggled, but Lewis' body was huge, and his grip was firm. This condition made her confused and panicked.

Lewis himself looked annoyed. "Why don't you serve us kindly like you served that poor man? Can't you see we're cooler and more manly than him?"

Viona flailed at Lewis's hand, but he didn't seem to feel anything. "Let go! You can't do this!"

Instead of listening to Viona's request, Lewis' hands grabbed Viona's waist and brought her body closer to his. Lewis smiled with furrowed brows, a sign of his dirty mind at work. "A sweet and sexy woman like you deserves to be with me. Not with a loser like him."

Lewis' hand boldly went down from Viona's waist and touched Viona's buttocks. Suddenly, Viona screamed.

Shawn, who wanted to eat peacefully, was disturbed, even when the food had not arrived. Moreover, they involved Shawn in their efforts to seduce Viona. "Your mouth does stink, damn drunkard."

Shawn's harsh words had Lewis intrigued. He let go of Viona and gave Shawn a sharp look while looking up. "What the fuck are you talking about?"

Shawn returned the stare with a smack on the lips. "Stop your disgusting stare. Your behaviour is ruining my meal."

Rony and Edgar stood up, and they approached Shawn's table. He firmly grabbed Shawn by the collar. "Come here, you poor loser!" said Rony.

Rony dragged Shawn closer to Lewis. The atmosphere in the restaurant became tense.

Rony then pushed Shawn's body until he was in front of Lewis's colossal body. Lewis was taller than Shawn, and his muscles looked bigger.

Lewis gave him a look of terrible anger. It was as if the hunt wouldn't let go of Shawn's eyes. "Fuck, what did you just say, huh?"

Shawn waved his hand in front of his face. "Can you stop talking? Your mouth smells like shit. I've never heard a skunk's ass talk."

Hearing that, Lewis got angry. He did not hesitate to push Shawn's body, and Rony and Edgar immediately held Shawn's body. Lewis himself immediately unleashed a straight punch that targeted Shawn's face.

However, the punch looked very slow in Shawn's eyes. Shawn tilted his head so the punch missed. Then Shawn kicked Lewis hard in the groin, making the big man fall to his knees in unimaginable pain. Then Shawn stomped on Rony's foot and headbutted Edgar. When Edgar fell, Shawn hit Rony in the solar plexus, sending him bouncing nearly 3 meters and crashing into the table.

Shawn grabbed Lewis by the collar. "If you have a mouth as rotten as a carcass, you better shut up, bitch!"

Shawn slapped the big man very hard. The man's body was thrown off and hit the table. To the people who saw it, that power was not expected. It all looked like the power of a superhero in a movie.

Lewis and his two friends then ran away in fear. Meanwhile, the other patrons clapped, and Viona came up to Shawn.

The girl in short pants smiled sweetly. "Thank you for helping me. I was so scared earlier."

Shawn replied with a slight nod. "No problem."

Viona glanced to the upper right, slightly biting her lip, but then looked right into Shawn's eyes. "Mr. Shawn, you were so strong and cool against them. I know it's a bit presumptuous, but can I have your phone number?" the girl said as she handed over a cell phone.
