"Oh, no need to bother, Lord Darius. This isn't anything big." Shawn raised his hand to reject the offer from Darius and Alex. Shawn felt that it wasn't something to make a fuss about. After all, it is a normal response to help others who are in distress.

Alex looked a little disappointed. "Don't say that, Mr. Shawn. You've done a great thing for us. Lord Darius could have been in a bad way if you hadn't helped him."

Shawn kept shaking his head. "Never mind, Mr. Alex. Think of it as an act of humanity."

Alex wrinkled his forehead. "No, Mr. Shawn. Your actions saved Lord Darius and me. There's no way I'm just going to stand by. At least allow me to do something for you."

Shawn was a little surprised by what Alex said. That's too much for Shawn. "It's only right that we help others who are in trouble, right? Especially when it comes to lives. Lord Darius' hospital fees aren't that high anyway."
