28. Lennon's POV

"What is it?” , Lennon asked Danny.

Danny shook his head. "Nothing,", he said, but he knew the guy. That look he had on his face meant he was thinking about something. He looked at Danny, who briefly glanced behind him again, before he tucked a strand of his hair behind his ear.

Okay, someone just caught Danny’s attention; he noticed.

In the past, Lennon learned to read Danny’s reaction and body language to certain things. He noticed that Danny could say something, but his body language could be conveying another message entirely, like his need for protection, comfort, and solace.

He stared at Danny, and as his eyelashes fluttered, he was not himself. Danny suddenly came closer to him, hooking their arms together, and placed his head on his shoulder.

Okay, if he was doubting it before, he was sure now. Something must have happened to make the guy act this way. Danny, whom he knew, never willingly initiates body contact except when he’s feeling highly emotional.
