Chapter 8

Welcome to the Hell

The clap continues as the person from the dark slowly marches towards them.

Aisen frowns, "Walk faster, bastard. This isn't a film you are walking like", he aims the gun at that side.

That person finally comes out of the shadow it turns out to be Vaan Skaletta who is eyeing him while his forehead touches the gun aimed at him.

His gang members run away through fear of him until they try to unlock the exit door in panic.

Vaan stays silent, giving a long cold look at Aisen. Aisen is in utter shock as his mouth shakes and his jaws open like a crocodile being suffering, "I killed you....impossible?".

Vaan puts his forehead closer to his gun, "Long story short... I faked my death, Aisen. And I know your weakness... Your neck is the only part of it".

Aisen immediately pulls up the trigger but the gun is bullet-less as he eyes it.

Vaan scoffs silently, "Pity on you, kid".

Aisen yells before his gang members aim the guns at Vaan, "Kill Him!".

The stream of shotgun reloading noises hits up behind Vaan as all the Skaletta members including the dead ones show up aiming their shotguns against Aisen.

Vaan keeps his cold look on him, "Aisen... Your father wasn't a bad person like you. I don't know how you got this anger against me... and my family... I don't care anyway... Welcome to the Hell, Aisen."

Aisen opens his mouth in utter shock, "I will leave this country, just spare my life! Please!"

Masaf immediately shoots Aisen's neck brutally without any mercy before he fits his coat, "Act is over, mate. Let's get to the main business."

Aisen dies falling on the floor before his boys start looting his things from his coat.

Vaan nods, "Kill these boys too. Anyone who points their gun at my family and alliance shall face no mercy from me."

Masaf smirks before patting his back, "That's my ally", both of them turn to the exit as a massive wave of shotguns shoots against the Aisen gangs mercilessly.

Masaf drinks a beer before handing him a bottle, "You know what, you got a lot of minds about this strategies. Sometimes I just wanna kill ya and take your head on him, you know what I mean?".

Vaan scoffs before nudging him and drinks a sip of beer, "You don't know how good I am, fooling your alcoholic ass".

Masaf nods before walking and entering the carriage with him, "Cheers to our Weaponry business. If Aeradis even breathes a war on this land, I will kill them, even sacrifice my life for this land that hates me!", and coughs harder.

Vaan shakes his head before placing the beer at the side and lits up his cigar, "They have a misunderstanding on you. Your father might have done a lot of tyranny but you are good. Everyone will know it one day", he smokes the cigar while Masaf looks at the window sighing while being silent.

After an hour

At the graveyard, Klethi sniffles slightly, looking at her suicide pills on her palm, "Since you are dead, boss. I don't have any purpose to live. I need to go away from this empty world", she slowly opens her mouth and those pills are about to fall into her mouth and someone places a palm on her shoulder before she brings a knife and gets it close to that person's neck.

She gasps watching her knife close to Vaan's neck then throws it away before hugging him deeply, "I'm in heaven then, boss"

Vaan takes out pills from her palm, "I never thought you were suicidal, you are one of the strongest ladies in Skaletta".

Klethi pulls back softly and looks up at him with a slight frown, "I have no purpose in life without your command, I pledged my life for Skaletta".

He looks into her eyes for a moment before shaking his head softly and wiping her tears using a soft napkin, "You need to be an advisor for Vito after I die one day. He cannot be a boss without your guidance. Promise me. That's an order. And you are the advisor, not the slave. You have your own life ahead".

She blushes at his action towards her before speaking, "I promise, boss. I will never leave him". He nods before walking with her, "Good to hear. You are like the Aunt for him. You have been raising him ever since Sonya died during the gunfights", he sighs thinking about Sonya in sorrow. Klethi looks up at him, not being able to express her feelings for him.

Skargaz Manor

Nasaf throws his tantrum about thinking why Vito has good friends and he doesn't, breaks the glasses and yells in anger, his neck, and face clouded with anger, his eyes grow into a beast and repeatedly punching the wall until it breaks with his knuckles breaks a bit, some bloods getting out afterwards.

He sits on a couch, "Why him? Why is that asshole stealing everything from me?! Even Mariada changed because of him! Why?!", he throws a hundred-pound sofa before a book falls on the floor which was quite old and dusty.

He crouches a bit and looks at it, "What's this rubbish doing here?... Melina!".

The female butler comes to him as he commands her to clean the book, "Clean it up, I wanna see what that garbage is!"

She nods then wipes it gently with a napkin and hands it to him before he takes it and opens the book. His eyes turn differently as he gasps, "Is that father's handwriting?".

He starts reading the book which was the diary of his young father back in his day.
