Chapter 34

He ran quickly out of the house.

"Mamita!!!" He called her name as loudly as he could, but he got no response.

He was restless. At this point, he didn't know what to think. There were a couple of thoughts trampling over one another in his mind, yet he couldn't clear them out.

His mind zoomed back to the pot of rice that had fallen on the floor. That couldn't have happened without some exertion of force.

With the thought of force springing in his mind, his restlessness tripled and quadrupled.

Did the Langley family find her again? Did they trace her to this house? Did they abduct her? Where is she, and what are they doing to her?

His eyes had turned red at these thoughts. He could feel blood racing and rushing through his veins. His hands have been fisted, bones crackling.

All of a sudden, he realized something. Earlier today, when he came here with Mamita, the neighborhood was a little bit lively and moving. Right now, things seemed unusually quiet.
