Chapter 40

Slade pulled the car over in front of a building. When he climbed out of the car, he was standing in front of a magnificent hundred floor building.

He looked from where he was to the top of the building. He shut his eyes for a moment as he let the breeze and sun massage his face in distinct flavor.

This building is called the Pinnacle Height. It was one of the few buildings that was considered as the best of the best in the country.

This building is exclusive to some set of people that have attained a specific social status.

Three years ago, Slade used to frequent this building because of the family business back then. But right now things are different.

His father's company that used to flourish has been hijacked by the other families who used to be shareholders in the company.

"I'll own this one day." He muttered to himself.
