Jake was in a haste to dismiss his friend. He was thankful that the young man still acknowledged him as someone he could talk to, but he needed to set his eyes on Ivy. He yearned to know what the outcome of the date was. He needed to be sure that she wasn't in love with the guy. It was funny how he didn't focus on his business growing but instead focused on getting a woman he knows he would never have.

He was in the bathroom when he heard his phone beep. He believed it to be Sebastian calling and so he continued with what he was doing. After a few minutes, he got out of the shower and began the fast process of getting ready. When he finally picked up his phone, he saw a message which indicated that his driver was waiting for him outside. Jake felt like royalty. He wasn't even married into the family and he was treated with so much respect and love. It was quite different from the Cash who chose to treat him like a filthy rag.
