Chapter fourteen

With a smile on her face, Amanda drove to work. The rush of excitement she felt everytime she stood up for herself was something that she savoured. And it has been a while since she felt that rush of electricity run through her body.

She didn't even know his first name and he was already staring up feelings in her that she enjoyed. Amanda made a mental note to stay away from him.

She swerved into the parking lot of her office, turned off the engine and walked into the building. Laura did not allow her a moment of rest. Immediately she stepped in, she walked dramatically towards Amanda.

"Have you seen the papers?" Amanda found it weird that she had a creepy smile on her face. Laura was never the one to care about papers, the only time Amanda had caught her reading one of them was when they had printed a fake news about the death of Mr. Malcom, a well known drug dealer who didn't care much for his targets.
