Chapter one

Jake knew he was going to enjoy every bit of his Saturday. Hanging out with Amanda promised to be more exciting than looking at numbers.

"I'm not going anywhere with you."

And just like the fiesty woman that she was, she had to disagree.

"Why not? Your boss just said that you could? And yeah, why are you even working on a Saturday? Do you not have days off?"

Amanda touched her head and shook it.

"So many questions. I'm perplexed as to where to start answering from."

"How about you start from the latter."

"I'll start from wherever I want to. I'm not leaving this office because I have a lot of work to do and you are just nothing but a distraction. I believe this answers all of your stupid questions, so now please leave my office."

Jake moved to the chair opposite her and sat down.

"I won't be leaving this place until you agree to come with me."
