Ivy's Hatred

The kiss was subtle and her breath on his skin felt like a summer breeze. He smiled as he deepen the kiss, allowing their souls to connect. They danced to music that only they could hear. When Jake felt his emotions staring, he ended the kiss.

"We are going to be late if we don't leave now," he whispered.

"I didn't know that you had made reservations." The only thing Amanda could do was smile. She was finally getting everything she needed. Jake was finally coming back to her. Their kiss proved that she was making her way back into his heart. It was slow progress, but it was progress nonetheless.

"I didn't make reservations but the cafe I'm taking you to will stop their breakfast menu in the next two hours, so we need to move fast."

"Okay. I'm all set to go. Unless you want to eat dessert before you have breakfast," she said seductively.

"Oh, I would love to but I'm running on a tight schedule right now and I can't afford to be late for my appointment."
