California was a town that never ceased to amaze Jane. One minute it's pouring rain, the next, the sun is threatening to peel your skin off. Today's weather was a combination of both. She honked at the car in front of her. Jane had always hated the way people took the road to be their home. Driving so slow as if they didn't have a where to be. She finally maneuvered the crazy road users and got to the hospital in one piece.

"Hello, I'm looking for a patient that was admitted here in the morning. Her name is Lindsey." Jane said to a sad-eyed woman in her mid thirties. The kind nurse that attended to her in the morning was no where to be found so Jane had to make inquiries to find out where the girl was.

"And how are you related to the girl?" She didn't only look sad. She sounded it too. It made Jane wonder what such a person was doing in the hospital. She is used to nurses being mean and rude but she has never come across a sad one before.

"Just a concerned friend."
