Penthouse

Ivy lowered her car windows. She didn't want the artificial wind from the air conditioner. What she needed was the soft and gentle breeze that the day came with and she received it. She played old tunes on the radio and she and Jake did a Karaoke to it. It was fun to be around someone who thought like her so much and had the same mindset as her. She loved every bit of it and could only wish for it to happen more often. She had friends but not many. And the few she had didn't understand her the way Jake did. He was a person she knew not to get rid of.

She looked at him and smiled. His face had never been more handsome than when the rays of the sun shone on them. It radiated his beauty and made him even more attractive to her. She should have stopped looking at him but she couldn't help but steal glances at him whenever she had the chance. She didn't lose focus on the road either but if a policeman was around, he would have easily arrested her for not driving well.
