Revelation

Jake's heart leapt for joy when he saw the beautiful face of Ivy being painted with a smile. It felt almost surreal to him and it was just what he wanted. Finally, he had been able to get a reaction out of her. He was beginning to doubt that she would feel anything tremendous about his place. His once special abode would feel like crap if that were to happen.

"What's with the smile on your face?"

"I guess it's due to the one on yours. I'm glad that you are impressed by the place."

"I'm not that impressed, I have seen better you know. I'm just shocked at the mess this place is. You haven't unpacked one bit." She walked through the pile of boxes that lay on the floor and scanned the room with a flustered sigh coming off her lips.

"Well, I was trying to tell you that but you just wouldn't let me. Now see what happened?"

"Of course, blame it on me. It's what you always do." Jake was about to make a comment but Ivy didn't let him. "Okay, that's enough. We need to get to work. It looks li
