Her face showed that she wasn't playing. She meant whatever came out of her mouth and that was the scary part for him. Ivy wasn't the kind of woman one should play with and she definitely wasn't the type to be taken for granted. Her every word was to be taken seriously and Jake was aware of it. She could crush him in less than a minute if she wanted to and no one would say a thing. But Jake had the upper hand at the moment. She was in jail for kidnapping his wife and there was enough proof to that effect. All he needed to do was to continuously use the law against her and everything would be okay.

"Am I meant to be scared by that?" Jake asked with a smirk on his face.

"One would assume that you would be but I'm guessing you have some plans that you are still cooking and it is giving you a certain level of courage?"

"What do you want from me, Ivy?" Jake was too tired to bater words with her so he decided to go straight to the point. He was thankful that her parents kept mute and allo
