10 - Baron Rombergh

"Are you ready, Mr. Leon?" Gera waited for Leon, who was currently getting ready.

After Randoff straightened his tie, Leon exited the room, eliciting smiles from some servants. Maxi, who happened to be assisting him, was smiling broadly while looking at his master wrapped in a perfectly fitted black suit.

"Sir, you look very handsome!"

Maxi praised enthusiastically. Leon looked at the boy and gave a small smile.

"Thank you, it's all thanks to this outfit."

"No, you really look handsome! Even without the suit, sir, you look really cool," the boy praised again. Gera glanced at Randoff and nodded, signaling.

"Well then." Interrupting Maxi, who was still enthusiastically showering him with compliments, Randoff said, "We're leaving now, Mr. Leon." Leon walked following Randoff, with Gera by his side.

Today, he and Gera were attending a party hosted by the Drago family. Gera had told him that this event would help Leon learn more about his family.

Here, he would be introduced to some high-ranking individuals and people mentioned in Randoff's reports from yesterday. Nevertheless, Leon still did not introduce himself as Yan Drago's son. He would disguise himself as Mr. Gera's son, currently studying abroad for the past few years. Hence, his brown hair was now replaced with jet black, slightly wavy locks, and he wore blue-tinted lenses that supposedly resembled Gera's wife's eye color.

"Please contact me if anything happens," Randoff said. As someone working for Mr. Yan, Randoff mentioned that he would go elsewhere to take care of something. Leon, on the other hand, would be with Gera.

Gera spoke when they reached the entrance of the party meeting room. "Mr. Leon, please answer the guests' questions only as necessary. I don't have many acquaintances here, so… I believe this appearance won't attract too much attention."

Leon nodded. "I know, no need to explain."

Gera's youngest son. Not many recognized his face, but they knew his outer appearance. Most importantly, the young man also wore round glasses just like his father.

When the door opened, the party room was revealed. It was Leon's first time entering a place like this, but he felt it wasn't much different from some movies he had rented before. In this spacious area, many people were conversing with each other.

He observed the person standing near the door with two young children beside him. One of them seemed to be his child. There were also members from the administration department, and two of them looked like his children.

Some people briefly noticed him when he entered because it was the first time they saw a new face. However, after seeing who was beside him, they seemed not to care too much.

"As I said, they don't care about me."

That was probably because of the perception people had of Gera, thinking he had strange preferences.

Every time someone came, they only asked a few words to Gera, then left to greet someone else. Leon, on the other hand, observed more often without speaking much, even when someone tried to engage in conversation.

"I didn't expect so many important people that I found in the book. I feel like I know them just by looking from a distance."

Leon continued to watch the guests, hiding behind his thick round glasses.

After being busy chatting with others, Gera approached Leon and whispered to him.

"Mr. Leon, I'm sorry, but I have to leave for a moment."

Leon looked at the person still near them, who smiled at him. If he remembered correctly, he was one of the people working on document management for Mr. Yan, or his father at the moment.

"There's a little problem I need to take care of."

"Go ahead, I won't cause any trouble."

Feeling relieved, Gera continued, "Wait a moment, sir. There will be one of the Drago family members appearing shortly. If possible, please pay attention to their appearance and the people around them. You can rest outside if you want; not many people will disturb you there."

Leon nodded.

The document handler seemed to ask something, and Gera quickly replied, "Ah, you mean him? He's my son on vacation here."

After that, Leon shifted his gaze elsewhere. He had no intention of drawing attention to himself; he planned to stay in a place with fewer people and only eat the available food.

Leon wasn't just idle. He listened, observed, and saw what was happening around him.

Leon lowered his head.

Maybe he should wander around.

He went to the corner, where there was a red curtain, and exited from there. Now he was in the backyard of the house.

Since it was a small party, only a few people were invited. The party was also suitable because most of them often brought close people, children, and other relations to introduce.

If he remembered correctly, they would arrive in an hour.

Leon talked about his uncle. The one who hosted this party. Randoff told him to look at him from afar and not draw his attention at all.

"Don't be too hasty, young master."

That's what Randoff said to him before they separated.

Who wants to create problems, right?

Urgh!

"Why are you doing this to my brother?!"

Leon glanced to his left.

He heard a faint voice. From a distance, he could see a small child standing, moving forward more than the smaller child, as if wanting to protect. In front of them was a child the same age as the one wearing a white suit. His hair was slicked back, and his voice sounded annoying.

"Why? Did I kick trash like him wrong?"

The child the same age as the bully looked angry. He clenched his fists while staring at the bully.

"You! He's my brother! Don't play around!"

"Heh, since when is he your brother? You're just a foster child! A foster child!"

The annoying child teased him, while the one in the white suit could only bite his lip, restraining his emotions. He seemed to want to hit the guy in front of him but held back.

However, he only wiped his slightly wet eyes, looked at his brother, and woke him up.

"Look! Brother, see! Confirm what I said; he doesn't dare to face me because he's a foster child!"

Smoke billowed from behind, with a cigarette in his hand, a man stepped forward and stared at the two children, oblivious. Leon's eyes widened as the man advanced further and was no longer blocked by the wall that had hindered his view.

Baron. He glanced at his brother and told him to leave.

"I've known that for a long time. But do it as much as possible in an enclosed space. Don't let adults know unless you want trouble."

Why is he here?

Now my gaze is focused on someone who has destroyed  school life.
