09 - Drago Organization

Mr. Gera, what are you doing here?"

"Young master... I sincerely apologize for my recklessness all this time. What Mr. Leon said is true. I have spoken inappropriately to you, who is my superior, and I am nothing more than someone who follows orders. I have no right, and I am not worthy to be in your presence. I have regarded you as an outsider who knows nothing.

I should have been more self-aware. Whoever you are, wherever you live, you are still Mr. Yan's child, his only son, and someone I should respect and educate with utmost sincerity."

Gera lowered his head. "Please forgive me, sir."

Leon moved his fingers several times, remaining silent for a considerable time. On the other hand, Gera did not stop bowing.

"People always say to give a second chance because they deserve it."

Gera lifted his head, pleased that Leon forgave him. However, his smile faded when Leon spoke again.

"But I am not one of those people." Leon walked closer, quite near to Gera.

"One insult will remain an insult to me."

Gera took a step back. How could a person who had lived outside have such a commanding presence?

Leon immediately changed his facial expression, smiling thinly as if there were no issues between them.

"But I like your way of teaching, Mr. Gera. Randoff told me that you are a great teacher, so I also want to give you another chance to work for me again."

Gera choked. "R-really?"

His eyes shaking

"Of course, thank you!"

"Thank you, Mr. Leon!"

Randoff observed both of them, especially his master, who was acting like a true host at the moment. Blood couldn't lie. Randoff smiled.

He recalled the times when Mr. Yan and Madam were still together. The house felt warm and very pleasant to live in. But, Mr. Leon surely had an unforgivable grudge against Mr. Yan.

Randoff closed his eyes. He only hoped that the two of them could meet again soon. But he didn't know when that would happen in the current circumstances.

Today, Gera returned to Leon's residence as a teacher. "Mr. Leon, today we will discuss the people in this organization."

Leon was interested. "Organization?"

Yes, both Mr. Yan's subordinates, his family, and some of his enemies. I prepared this material to prevent any incidents like that night from happening again. Hmm... I apologize for underestimating the tragedy that befell the young master."

Gera looked uncomfortable to continue. Because of guilt? More towards fear, in my opinion.

Gera lifted his bag, containing many documents. "I have divided this into several parts. Let's start with Mr. Yan's subordinates."

He then took out his laptop to connect to the white screen hanging from the ceiling. Besides that, he also handed several documents full of colorful notes, bright colors that made Leon furrow his brow.

"Sir, you can see from the first page; this is a list of people who work directly under him."

The screen changed, displaying several unfamiliar faces to Leon. "Only two people from this screen know about Mr. Leon's existence. That's why you must memorize their faces one by one. I have provided their facial photos in the document, from various angles and people around them... sir, is there a problem?"

Leon pressed the brightly colored book in front of him and then spoke. "You... what do you mean by giving me a book that looks like it's for children?"

Gera looked nervous. "I-Is there something wrong? Do I need to replace it?"

Leon looked at Randoff, who was now beside him. Then he whispered in his ear.

"Mr. Gera is known for his fanatic hobby of liking colorful things since the first time his first child was born. That's why many people don't like his way of teaching because it feels demeaning."

Very similar to the feeling Leon experienced every time Gera taught.

"I'm sorry; I didn't mean to demean the young master. Not at all. I just think this is the easiest way to teach someone. I will change it immediately."

"You're right; it's very easy to read when you break it down like this. But aren't you tired of making things like this?"

Gera shook his head. "No, I am a teacher. I prepare like this because I will teach someone, so I make it in such a way that it is easy to understand by everyone."

... He must be doing this while indulging in his hobby, right?

Leon furrowed his brow. 'I thought you were normal.'

Interested in cute things... Ah, is that why he always carries a teddy bear keychain?

"... But if the young master wants to change it, I will do it." His face looked somewhat sad when he said that.

"Yes, please do that."

Gera looked disappointed, but he agreed. "Okay, sir."

Leon observed Gera, who began to tidy up the documents.

"If you want to make it colorful, it's okay. But use it for notes only."

Gera's face lit up again.

Again, Randoff whispered to him when Gera was arranging the documents.

"Young master. Mr. Gera is actually a bit fanatic about his love for colorful things. Almost everyone who asked him to teach at their home asked him to change the documents to look more normal, but he refused and chose to resign as a teacher."

Now Leon knew why the man always seemed overdressed.

"But he wants to change it if you tell him to. Amazingly, not only that, but you also kindly give him a chance to have fun, even if only a little."

Right after saying that, Gera spoke. "Thank you, sir. You are truly generous."

No, not at all.

"I will give you new documents in the next class. For now, just look at the screen."

"Sir must be able to memorize this within the specified time. Anyway, we need to catch up quickly so that you can go back to school."

Leon straightened up. "Go back to school? Do you mean my campus?"

"Yes, besides education, there are children from families connected to the school organization. You must already know one of them."

Many wealthy people attended that school, but Leon's mind went straight to one person who made his life hell during school.

"The Rhomberg family."

Gera nodded. "Baron Rhomberg and Mitty Rhomberg, to be precise."

Leon would meet them again.
