Screech!

The sharp sound of the tires against the asphalt and burning rubber from the friction turned the heads of everyone present, horrifying them at the same time. Their mouths gaped when they saw a woman floating mid-air before she fell on the rough asphalt.

She groaned and spewed blood, adding to the formed crimson pool.

Jackson, without wasting a second, rushed to her side. “Someone call an ambulance!”

He gently tacked her hair away from her face. The girl’s eyes followed his movement. Visibly frightened, she shivered. Jackson held her hand and patted her head. “It’s going to be okay.”

His soothing voice brought about a calmness in her rapid heartbeat.

Unable to believe their widened eyes, those present held their mouths with their trembling hands. Muffled voices of fright reached Jackson’s ears.

“Hmph! What’s with the horrible acting?”

Jackson turned in the voice's direction. He saw a haughty young man in a gray suit. He had just gotten off his sport’s vehicle. A gliste

“Damn it!” Jackson kicked a trash can in front of him. He had his shirt unbuttoned and the jacket of a suit over his shoulder. It was a usual occurrence for him. Every time someone humiliated him, he would get drunk. Once, a respected young man with a bright future ahead of him and everything within his grasp, he became a nobody in the blink of an eye. A commoner who would get humiliated day in and day out. “Mr Walker, that fucker!” Alcohol made his face flash crimson. The humiliation of the day added to the outburst. A reddened handprint on his cheek ached, although his face became numb. “And that sexy little bitch he had with him…?!” He stopped and pondered for a while. "I will return the humiliatio

That same day, Jackson visited the bank. One thought that crossed his mind was perhaps this was a joke. However, would it be worse than what had already happened yesterday? It’s not like he had anything else to do, anyway. [Meet Mr Pearl at Arolia Bank] That’s the last words from the old man in the call. If the bank claimed to be the number two business, no one dared say it was the first. Though never really meet Mr. Pearl, Jackson knows this name. In fact, everyone does. ‘King of the Bank’, that’s what people call him. He had the option to greet whoever he wanted. If he ignored someone for whatever reason, rumors would spread like wildfire and the family business would meet its end. Jackson walked in, approached the help desk, and asked for Mr. Pearl. A chandelier hovered over the lobby, laced in gold, looking down on those beneath it. Its steady light shone in every corner. Red carpets and black glistening marble decorated the floor. The panic ensued by Jackson’s phone call trampled through the tranquil atmosphere in seconds. The crowd murmured about the mysterious person with such an enormous power. The two youngsters of the Adams family looked at each other with visible horror in their eyes. Naomi shared the same expression on her face. She knew what he was capable of, but her measly family’s restaurant was nothing compared to the prestigious Jade Palace. “Oh, my! Who might you be?” The crowd became silent as a couple approached them. Jackson recognized them. How could he not? They were Hannah Kraft’s parents, his parents-in-law. Jackson swallowed his pride and anger. “Good evening, madam!” She tried to maintain her manners in front of the young man who bought the Jade Palace with a dollar. Even though she wore a mask, sh

We can talk, but can we please do something about the noise?” He looked at his fuming uncle straight in the eyes and sneered. “It’s annoying!” The patriarch kicked them out of the meeting room. Her snake-like body leaned at the table next to Jackson. Her curvy body could strike any man who dared to look at her. The patriarch looked at Jackson. At first, Jackson got his attention by mentioning the new project, but the longer he thought about it and looking at his cheap attire, the more he doubted him. “So, tell me what kind of job you got there?” “Ah, yes. After a couple of hours in the autobil, Jackson and the others arrived at the Hynkel family estate. With no gates or fences as if it invited people in, the estate welcomed its guests. Although Jackson thought it curious, he more or less understood the meaning behind it. A warlord and a nefarious one lived there. Someone must be stupid enough to infiltrate for whatever reason. The Hynkel family openly showed its might. The road ended when a paved path started, which led into the estate. A garden with abundant greenery and fragrant flowers surrounded the buildings. Different sections divided the place. The current head of the Hynkel family lived at the upper level, whereas Rosalia and her brother, as part of the branch family, lived in the lower. Men and women wearing black suits patrolled the mansion and the surrounding areas, with gun holsters strapped to their chests. It served as a warning to anyone who thought of trying anything against the family. The rest of the family live

The noble minister gargled in a pool of his blood. He laid on his stomach, unable to turn around. His face grew pale and the light in his eyes became dim.One could say it was because of the fear he felt at when Ulrich pounded him without remorse. It took but one punch to demolish his spirit.Queen Melina stared down at him from her throne. Silence brewed for several minutes until Ulrich stood next to Jackson. Then the Rosenbaum Kingdom’s queen spoke in an utterly bitter tone. “You, the minister of this nation, betrayed our people, broke laws and murdered innocents for your greed. As queen, I dismiss you from your duties effective immediately. You are to wait in a cell until the day of your execution.”She looked around and met everyone’s eyes, making them realize how serious she was. She then stood up. Just before she left, her voice echoed throughout the throne room. “Take this scum out of my sight!”Until this happened, her people and nobles thought she was just a figurehead not to

Jackson and the queen laid on the bed. She found comfort in his embrace as she caressed his chest with her finger. It followed a circular trajectory which tickled him.The two remained quiet for several minutes.A knock on the door brought them back from their haze. They both got up and dressed. Jackson went to the door. He knocked back and Ulrich pushed it open. His voice echoed through the crack. “Young master, there’s movement in the corridor.”Jackson adjusted his shirt and walked towards the queen. “Your highness. The people I told you about earlier seem to be more active now.”The young woman smiled, buttoned her shirt and walked towards the door. She knocked twice. Her thunderous voice sent chills down Jackson’s spine. “Open the door!”Just as it opened enough for her to go through, the queen slipped outside. Soon enough, the people Jackson followed appeared in front of her. Ulrich flexed his muscles and shielded her.“Hey, Ulrich, push this thing a little more.”Ulrich stepped

He paced back and forth. Once he reached the window, he slightly pulled on the drape, looking outside. The queen’s room was about twenty meters from the ground, yet Jackson couldn’t relax. Not only did he commit a crime by entering the premises illegally, but he found his way in the bedroom of the most important person in all of Rosenbaum Kingdom. After a few deep breaths to calm his nerves, he looked at the half-naked figure of the beauty sitting seductively on the bed, waiting for him to sit beside her. Reluctantly and at a steady pace, Jackson approached the queen. She couldn’t have been over twenty-five or twenty-six years old, yet she ruled an entire nation. No matter how one would look at it, Jackson couldn’t even come close to her magnificence. Their status was too far apart. Under normal circumstances, they wouldn’t be alone in a room like this. Jackson understood this, and didn’t lose his nerve. His goal hadn’t changed. Since he got the chance to tell the queen everythi
