Not My Son

This is what Emmy had been doing for the past few weeks, every time he got home, he will practice the techniques in the book. He had received this book from Jone.

He remembered the day he received the book from his dog, it was a rainy Sunday evening, he was in the garden under a flat tree that protect him from rain. Jone ran inside the garden with a wooden box in its mouth, all its body was bruise and bloody, its white skin was bloody red.

Emmy had dropped the book he was reading and ran over, he picked Jone up running back under the tree, but the box had fell from Jone's mouth and as it did, Jone bark weakly and pointed its finger towards the box which Emmy had quickly picked up.

Getting back to where he was, he dropped the box at the other side and started giving Jone what he could, just to make it feel better.

"What did you get yourself into, where are you coming from." Emmy asked with tears in his eyes, he don't want to lose his dear dog and his only companion. He can't take Jone inside as the door was locked and his mother won't give him the access.

Getting a few flowers from the garden and some flat leaves from the trees with a few dropped branches, he used it to build a mini house for Jone, then cutting a few flower herbs, he started rubbing it on its bruise body, the dog cried a little as it was painful and after a few minutes it had gone to sleep. Emmy cover its body with flowers.

He then looked at the strange wooden box Jone had brought in.

"What's this box?" He asked as he started looking at it, he tried to open it but he couldn't find any way to open it, every angle of the box was sealed.

"I have to destroy this thing before I can see what's inside." He could feel that something is inside the box when he shake it, but he couldn't think of what it was.

He started by gathering different rock and was smashing each one of them on the box. But instead of the box to break or shattered into pieces, it was the other way around. The most shocking thing was that the box was made of wood, no any scientific items, it was just a pure wood. After testing a few more rock with no success, he decided to leave it be and continue reading his book.

A few hours later, Jone woke up and almost all its body had healed. Emmy ran over to it and started looking at its body like it was his child.

"I think you're a little better now." He said with a smile and Jone flip its tail in response.

"So where were you coming from." Emmy asked as if Jone will give him an answer. Jone gave a weird reaction and it looked around for a few minutes before its eyes laid on the strange box, running over to it, Jone brought it back to Emmy.

"What's this, where do you find it and how can it be opened." Emmy asked. Jone looked at the top of the box before it ran back towards the gate, Emmy chase after it but stopped as he noticed that Jone was using its mouth to search the entrance.

"What are you looking for?" He shouted. Coming back to him with a strange empty glass in its mouth, Jone gave the glass to Emmy. The glass was flat at the top while the bottom was curved and solidm

"What's this?" Emmy asked, the glass was empty and a little dark, Jone ran back and brought the box to him, then using its tail; it gestured for Emmy to place the glass on the box and he just did that. After a few seconds, the upper part of the box started to disappear with the box and it was revealing a tattered dirty book placed inside the box.

"A book?" Emmy said in surprised as he picked it up, he started flipping the pages and that's when he could see what it was. "A technique book?" He was really surprised. "But what type of technique is this, and what family does it belongs to."

The cover part of the book has been torn off, most of the pages were ripped off already. And Emmy knew this is an opportunity for him, even as some of the pages were torn off, he's ready to learn every other word remaining there, with family name being ripped off, it means no one will claim it from him if he's to pass it down.

He looked at Jone and give it a big hug. "Don't worry, when I started cultivating with this book and found out what my ability is, I'll treat you to a dinner." He said.

---

This was about four weeks ago and Emmy had been using the technique in this book to cultivate his ability since that day and Jone will always sit with him anytime he's doing this.

He continues his cultivation as he remembered when he received the book from Jone, after about 30 minutes; he stopped and packed his bag moving to the garden under the tree with flat leaves.

A mini black car with the upper part opened drove towards the gate and packed outside, coming out of it was a beautiful woman in her early thirties, she had a black skimpy tight pant and a short blacktop on, the top was only covering her breast, revealing her beautiful and glowing body. She had a long dark brown hair that was released downward. This is Brenda who happens to be Emmy's mum.

A large man with bald head could be seen behind her holding onto her waist as they both laughed and walked in.

'Who's this man.' Emmy thought looking at the strange man who was with his mum.

"Huh? Isn't that your son." The man asked as he could see Emmy standing there with his bag in his hand and Jone by his side.

"Honey, stop it, he's not my son." She said.

"Who are you." Emmy said with his eyes locked onto the man's, he ignored his mom's word.

"Is he talking to me?" The man asked surprised.

"Yes, I'm talking to you, why are you with my mom." Emmy asked.

"Baby, permission to deal with him." The man said.

"Go on dear." Emmy's mom replied and in an instant Emmy was sent flying back into the garden and his back had crushed some of the flowers.

"You scum, I asked who you are." Emmy said as he stood up, this was nothing compared to the beating and pain he had felt in school. Jone was barking at the strange man.

"He got spoilt because I sent him to school." His mom said as she picked up his bag.

"Oh, that's his bag, let me play with it." The man said as he collected the bag and gathering around his left hand was flame, then pointing it towards the bag, it had burnt into crisp.

"Nooooo." Emmy said as he tried to run over, but his body was not moving and he could feel a great pain building inside of him. "Arghhhh." He screamed and Jone was also barking wildly but couldn't get closed to the man as it was afraid of the flame swirling around his arm.

"Honey, let's go in and have fun." Brenda said as she held onto the man and started moving in. The man was wondering what had happened to Emmy for him to screamed in pain because he burns his bag, but the man doesn't care as he entered with Brenda.
