Hilda was wide-eyed with surprise, her breath instantly stopped. She hadn't expected Alice to be carrying a weapon at this time. Hilda was rooted to the spot, she could not move, as if her body were nailed to the spot. Hilda was very shocked.

"Alice, you can't be serious!" Hilda shook her head in disbelief.

"Yeah, that's what you think." Alice quickly rushed forward. She lunged at Hilda. Hilda's screams sounded so loud.

After that, red-colored, fresh, and thick blood splattered on the floor as Alice's knife successfully sliced through Hilda's neck.

After a while of doing something she had always wanted to do, Alice smiled with satisfaction as she walked away quickly. She left the dying Hilda with blood pooling on the floor.

Alice walked quickly but carefully because the place she was currently in was quite dark. Her current goal was to go to the bathroom to clean herself up. She did not feel guilty, nor was she afraid of what she had done. All she felt was a sense of relief mixed with contentment.

Alice did not regret having done something to Hilda, her enemy and her former friend.

"I'm innocent, Hilda deserves it. She has humiliated me and made me furious for quite some time," Alice said as she washed her hands in the sink quickly. She also didn't forget to wash her very sharp little knife.

The girl grunted when she saw that the knife was full of Hilda's blood. Alice tried to cover her tracks. She didn't want to be caught doing something bad to Hilda.

Alice then laughed as she looked at her reflection in the mirror. She smiled very wide. Her wish had come true. The grudge had been avenged. Alice was feeling quite happy at the moment.

Alice didn't get out of the bathroom right away. She chose to stay there a little longer. She repeatedly checked her body, just to make sure nothing was wrong, or else other people might get suspicious if they found something wrong with her.

And although the clothes Alice was currently wearing were black, she was lucky that Hilda's blood that splashed onto her clothes was not much, just small dots. Alice, of course, had already washed it off with water.

When Alice sat down, her thoughts about Hilda resumed echoing inside her cranium, but just like before, there was no feeling of regret that Alice felt.

Instead, Alice felt very satisfied.

Zana just realized that Hilda was not by her side. She turned her head to the right and left. Her forehead frowned. "Hilda, where are you?"

The party was still in full swing, but without Hilda, it was very boring for Zana. Of course, she was soon on the move, barging through the people while calling out and looking for Hilda.

However, there was no sign of Hilda that she could see. Zana was even more confused about where Hilda was. Her best friend seemed to have disappeared into thin air.

Hilda was nowhere to be seen. At least in the halls at the moment. Zana was so focused on herself, having fun and grooving to the music, that she didn't realize that Hilda was missing.

"Hey, have you seen Hilda?" She began to wonder about the others. "No? Okay, thanks."

Zana didn't just ask one person, but their answers were always the same-don't know or a shake of the head.

"Are you asking about where Hilda is?" Suddenly, a girl swooped in.

Zana blinked, followed by her head nodding steadily. "Yeah, you're right, you saw her?"

"I saw her."

Zana felt a sense of hope come over her. She looked at the girl seriously. "Are you sure? Where did you see her?"

"I was going to the drink stand when I saw her coming out of the hall, but I don't know where she went. I didn't see her wrong, I'm sure it was her."

No wonder Hilda was not in the hall.

"Okay, thank you, your information helped me a lot."

"You're welcome. Are you going out to look for her?"

"Yeah, I think so."

"Okay, good luck finding her."

Zana nodded. She then rushed out quickly. Zana's intention was to go straight to the rooftop because they had been there before. Perhaps Hilda wanted to be alone again. Zana felt stupid for having lost her. She also felt guilty because she was dancing happily to DJ music while Hilda was having a hard time.

Zana now felt that she was a bad friend. She was too complacent.

"I will apologize to her later, the important thing now is that I have to meet her first." Zana's steps were moving faster and faster. She climbed the stairs carefully because it was dark.

The whole place was deliberately darkened, except for the hall.

However, when Zana finally reached her destination, the rooftop was empty, and there was absolutely no one there. This meant that Hilda was not there. Zana now felt anxious.

***

Alice felt that she had been in the restroom for too long, so she finally came out of there. She was fine, she felt she hadn't done anything wrong. Alice's destination was back to where the party was.

When she was about to go inside, Alice was suddenly startled when her hand was pulled quickly by someone. Alice squealed in shock, she staggered backwards.

Apparently, the culprit was Zana. Alice snorted and immediately pulled her hand back. She looked at Zana with a sharp gaze. "What's wrong with you? Don't pull my hand carelessly."

Besides Hilda, Alice was also reluctant to deal with Zana again. To her, both of them were the same. They were traitors. However, compared to Zana, Alice's hatred for Hilda was much higher.

"Hey, don't go yet. I have something to ask you." Zana pulled Alice's hand again. And before Alice could grumble, she started saying again, "listen to me, I'm looking for Hilda, have you seen her?"

Alice rolled her eyeballs. She now folded her hands as she sharpened her eyes. "You know, that's the stupidest question anyone could ask me."

"I'm just asking you, if you don't know where she is, you can simply answer with no. It's that simple."

"You're stupid. We're not friends anymore, and I don't want to deal with you two anymore. I don't care about you or Hilda. Stop asking questions and taking up my time, I need to get back to the party."

With a single stroke, Alice pushed Zana's body backward. Zana didn't say anything back, she stayed silent instead of replying to Alice's mistreatment. She just stared at Alice's departure, accompanied by a long sigh.

As she walked away, Alice smiled wryly. She certainly knew where Hilda was at the moment. Because she dealt with her before she returned to the party again.

Meanwhile, Zana was searching for Hilda again. Several times she clucked in annoyance, especially with the poor lighting. It made her anger flare up.

"Damn it!" Zana cursed, she couldn't help but take out her cellphone to turn on the flashlight to illuminate her surroundings.

Even so, Zana actually didn't know where else to look for Hilda.

"Did Hilda secretly go home?"

The one question that escaped her lips made her immediately leave for the parking lot. She was looking for Hilda's car, which she recognized. And it wasn't hard to find. Zana had no trouble finding where Hilda's car was parked.

Zana thought that maybe Hilda had left herself in the car, but when Zana checked, Hilda wasn't there.

Zana was getting annoyed that she hadn't managed to find Hilda. Even so, she didn't want to give up. If Hilda's car was still in the parking lot, that meant she hadn't left. She was in the school area.

Leaving the parking lot, Zana checked the restrooms, but there was nothing there. Hilda was nowhere to be found. She felt disappointed again. There was no way Hilda would just disappear, right?

Until finally, a thought crossed Zana's mind as she walked alone. "Maybe I should report Hilda's disappearance to the teacher or new principal. Yeah, this is a serious incident, everyone should know that Hilda is missing. Everyone should look for her."

Zana nodded firmly. She felt that her idea was very good. That's why she hurried. Her steps in the corridor were getting faster, until finally, Zana accidentally saw a strange sight-something odd. She saw red stains on the floor. So many.

Zana thought she just saw it wrong. She crouched down to check and looked more carefully. Zana's brow furrowed in confusion.

Then, hesitantly, Zana began to poke at the red stain. She thought it was spilled paint, but when she smelled it, Zana's eyes widened.

It wasn't a paint spill, like she thought. Zana was wrong.

"This is blood. Holy shit, this is human blood." Zana was startled and moved back. She swallowed again. There was so much blood on the floor. This was not right. Zana suddenly panicked.

Whose blood is it? Why is there so much of it?

Zana can't be wrong. It was indeed blood. Human blood, to be precise. She recognized the smell.

This was something very strange.

Until Zana realized that one of the classroom doors was open. She moved to look around. With the help of her cell phone's illumination, Zana saw something that made her scream so strongly. She was completely shaken.

Zana's scream was so strong when her eyes saw a very terrible sight.

In the classroom, Zana saw Hilda with her body hanging from a mine.

Hilda was dead. Someone had killed her.

Zana collapsed on the floor.
