Speed-run Civilization

And it begins

-2 weeks before the attacker's ship arrive-

Eugene was standing on a watch tower looking towards the sea. He was all alone with his guards and John waiting down near the watchtower.

"2  weeks.." said Eugene

(Yeah 2 weeks before phase 3 begins.)

"Ha yeah I think Uncle Edward can easily handle Eli." Said Eugene

(You were worried about Conley? I thought you were worried about Jola. Ha I think you are confident in winning then)

"Of course I am after the message Lucas got me. Why can't I be confident?"

(Fair enough he he, these intruders will won't even know how they got into this situation ha ha ha)

A smile creeped on Eugene's face.

`Border Town : Empire of Ancorna`

In a small mansion inside a bed was sleeping a man with 2 beautiful women naked by his sides. He had the distinct red that the imperial family had but it was not just him but one of the beauties too had this trait. He slowly rolled to his left then right after that he woke up with a smile on his face.

He walked out of the bed, changed his clothes into a royal attire and started to get ready when the red haired women woke up.

"You already woke up brother?" She asked lazily as if she didn't want to wake up.

"Of course today we are pre-planning and briefing the men of our upcoming attack on Conley." Said the man while wearing his clothes.

"Ha.. it's our last day here" said the woman, a little sad.

He slowly made his way towards the woman and kissed her. Both of them kissed each other passionately for at least a minute then the man moved away and said.

"From today we are going to be at war with Conley so you can't be here , returning to the capital is best for you right now."

After saying that he kissed the sleeping red haired girl then left the room.

Who was this man? He had red hair , green eyes and brown skin tone.

This was the Imperial Prince Eli Ewan of Ancorna. He was in the border town because after increasing the tensions between the two empires he was going to attack Conley tomorrow. 

Who were the women? Yeah you guessed it his sister the one he kissed right now was Anna Ewan, she was not step sister or anything she was his blood sister but he still loved her and she too loved him very much. The other one was just a slave he brought for the night.

In Ancorna there have been incestive relationships before but it was with a step sister or a cousin , but never had someone married their own sister. The reason for Eli to fight for succession even after being the youngest was to marry his sister legally. Only the Emperor can change the rules so it was as simple as that.

Eli did try to convince Landon, his oldest brother to let him marry Anna when he ascended the throne but he said this was a very controversial move and would ignite a civil war with the religion and state.

One has to know incestive relationships were pretty common in the Eastern Continent before, then why did it change very simple the religion Eastern Continent follows is Myto in this religion it was said that the first gods had said that not keeping the noble blood pure was a sin, so the people of the continent always use to marry in their own families but it changed when Myto religion died out in the war between the pirates of the Central Continent and Myto Temple. It was said that one of the Pirate of A powerful empire in the Central Continent raped a prists while she was on an quest to spread the religion there since a great war started and the Myto Temple died out. The good thing was neither the pirates nor the empire of the Central Continent wanted to occupy these backwards land so they spread their religion Oracles of Faith here. This happened more than 200 years ago but the Central Continent still does not allow the Myto Temple to get re-established even now.

Eli understood that if he had to marry his sister he had to become the emperor and fight the religion for the rest of his life or support someone else for protection. That’s right even though Eli was doing everything in his power to become the emperor, he is actually supporting James, his 2end brother. Why? Because he promised Eli that if he helped him become the Emperor , He will make it so Eli could marry his sister. How will James do it , it was none of his concern.

Hince Eli started to make moves making everyone think that he was also fighting for the throne but in reality he was working for James. This was a secret so that Landon thinks that Eli is fighting against both Eli and James. They wanted to maintain this illusion till they removed Landon from the Succession or killed him. 

So on James orders Eli started pressuring Conley and Planned to attack it. After Eli barges into Conley, James is going to support Conley and help them drive out Eli with this James will gain Conley’s trust thus having a great chance at the throne.

The Emperor will be in a dilemma to whether to give the throne to Landon who has no achievements or to James who gained the trust of Ancorna’s Enemy. This was their plan to get Conley into their debt plus getting the throne both.

He can see all of his commanders and generals waiting for him in the hall. everyone was wearing their armor, there was a table in the middle of the room with many prachement maps and quills on it.

Eli walked towards it and everyone bowed to him. He stood in front of the table and said.

“I heard Jaren was arrested, is it true?” Said Eli

“Yes your highness our spies in the Conley Palace have confirmed it and also the other news too.” Said a Commander with Gray hair.

“Yes Your highness Emperor Edward Roland has been doing nothing but drinking for the past few weeks” Said another Commander with a black mustache

Jaren Roland was Emperor Edward’s Eldest son , he was studying at Ancorna's knighthood Academy and that’s when Eli became friends with him.  It was Eli that made Jaren a douchebag by slowly brainwashing him with  Ancorna’s Ideology. Eli told him to try and get support from a kingdom in Conley for the next Sumit by proposing that he had a good relationship with Eli , which will be beneficial for them.

El expected one of the kingdoms to shake hands with Jaren and in turn with him but something else happened rather than asking for support. The weirdo went ahead and gave a marriage proposal to an already engaged woman. This got him in trouble and for breaking the law of bribing the Noble Selection council.

Sigh

Eli Sighed if all went according to plan A they wouldn’t have had to go to war. Jaren would have become the Emperor and they would have made connections with Conley faster that way but with Jaren out of the picture they can only go with this plan B now.

“Remember Everyone we are not conquering Conley, we are just making an illusion that we are. We have the information for all the underground tunnels that lead to Conley’s Border Towns and Cities from Jaren. What we need to do is sneak into these cities and towns via tunnels then destroy them. After you do that we don’t need to leave our troops to occupy the towns, what we need is a quick retreat!”

That’s right they are not Occupy these towns rather they are destroying them , why? because they only have 50,000 Troops so they can’t keep on stationing their troops in every Town/Cities they conquered. They didn't have a numbers advantage right now so if they keep stationing people then they would go down when the Conley Imperial reinforcement comes.

They are not supposed to lose to the Imperial army, they are supposed to lose to James. So they will destroy the cities/towns, retreat then wait for James’s Army to arrive and beat them. It will look like they tried and failed but in reality they were there to fail.

One should know the security in these border towns and cities was way higher than normal places in Conley that’s why Eli asked for a map of tunnels that all Imperial Family members have so they can escape when in danger from Jaren. If Eli Calculated all the knights Towns/cities had then that would be more than 300,000 Knights stationed in all the 8 border cities and 7 Towns. This would have been impossible without the map but now that he has it his army can easily enter these cities and towns attacking them from the inside, killing the enemy in the dead of the night in their sleep. They were going to burn these places, yep they never planned to have a full on battle. They are going to sneak into the city/town and burn it to the ground. While the knights and everyone will be busy extinguishing the fire Eli’s army will retreat through the tunnels back.

“And now it Begins” Said Eli with an expressionless face.
