Tap! Tap! Tap!

Footsteps could be heard coming towards a quiet girl's dorm, it was none other than Ryan Goldway he ran with all his might as beads of sweat formed on his forehead.

'I'm coming for you Daniella.' Ryan thought.

Ryan halted the moment he saw Daniella walking towards him, as she was exiting the hallway.

Their eyes met as Ryan was bubbling with mixed emotions.

"Daniella is what I'm seeing online true?" Ryan inquired.

Daniella was silent she didn't know how to find her way out of this sticky situation.

"I had no other choice Ryan, I'm sorry it's over between us." Daniella replied with no emotion in her facial expression.

Ryan felt as though he was hit by a car he was frozen to the spot.

"After everything I .....

Ryan couldn't complete his words as Daniella shot back at him.

"I can't afford to hang around with a poor and wretched boy, we can't even have exquisite dinners on our dates you can't even afford a gift for me."

"But our love wasn't based on material wealth but real love." Ryan replied.

"Oh shut the hell up you have nothing to offer in this relationship, there's no love between us." Daniella hollered angrily.

Ryan realized that Daniella had been pretending all this while, he'd thought she'd loved him but it was all a facade.

Suddenly, a vehicle came to a halt as it engines revved and then bowed to silence.

The door opened as Gerald Lane walked out of it.

"Heh babe!" Gerald announced.

"Coming boo." Daniella replied.

Daniella ran into Gerald's waiting arms as he hugged her so tightly, that he could feel her bosom he began to rub her backside slowly.

Ryan snapped out of his moment of shock as he was so into the thoughts of Daniella he couldn't even hear Gerald drive in.

Ryan saw the way Gerald caressed her as they shared a passionate kiss, Ryan's blood boiled as he stared at the two kiss passionately.

Gerald disengaged from the kiss and looked at Ryan disdainfully.

"Who's this thing to you babe?" Gerald asked as his face was filled with disgust.

"He was my ex boyfriend very poor and wretched being." Daniella replied.

Gerald intentionally kissed Daniella as to make Ryan jealous and he enjoyed that moment.

Gerald started to laugh as he mocked Ryan.

"Such a poor peasant dating such a hot babe good thing she left your deceitful arms, and came into mine."

"I am not a deceiver you crazy minded girlfriend stealer!" Ryan protested angrily.

"Shut the hell up loser go find girls your own level, as for Daniella she's madly in love with me." Gerald replied as they entered into his Veyron Bugatti.

"Later Loser!" Gerald hollered as drove out of the car park adjacent to the girls dorm.

Ryan felt like he'd been hit by a ton of bricks his hopes to have a beautiful relationship shattered, and his heart was beating so fast.

"I've lost Daniella." Ryan muttered in the face of realization.

Ryan walked with an apathetic look as he remembered all the moments he shared with her.

Ryan clenched his fist and looked up at the setting sun in the beautiful horizon.

"You will regret this Daniella!" Ryan hollered as he walked with a determined look.

Hours later...

It was 8:30 pm in the evening, a restaurant with the names Hobbs Palace was put into view.

Ryan was seen donned in the waiter's uniform he worked here as one of his side jobs, atleast he was sure of taking leftovers home everyday along with a meagre salary that was compensated with tips he received from generous customers but they rarely came around.

Ryan cleaned a table with a brown rag and disinfectant spray he heaved a sigh.

"Oh well I guess it's back to life's struggles." Ryan muttered.

Suddenly the rolling doors swung open as two individuals walked in, Ryan turned around to see who it was it was none other than Gerald Lane and his new girlfriend Daniella Washington.

"Oh sweetheart it'll be quite pleasurable." Gerald commented as he pecked her on her red cheeks.

Ryan looked at Gerald Lane he was donned in a tuxedo custom made along with the rest of his clothes, he was a classy bloke.

Daniella Washington was even more stunning she her red gown hugged her figure eight body, cupping her fresh bossom and her light make up complemented her aesthetical beauty.

Her beauty was accentuated by the dress she wore as a pleasant perfume filled the restaurant.

Gerald Lane wore a frown as he noticed Ryan as he then realized this was the best time to humiliate him.

The two went towards a table reserved for romantic couples they sat down, as Gerald Lane signalled for the waiter to come.

"Yes kind sir, what will you and your lovely miss like to have tonight?" The young waiter asked eloquently.

Although he was a waiter he was quite polished and had a calm demeanor which distinguished him from the rest.

"I'll like the young man by the name Ryan to attend to us." Gerald replied.

"No offense young waiter you are doing well." He added softly.

"No problems your comfort is our comfort." The young waiter replied as he left and signalled to Ryan.

Ryan understood the message and went towards the with his small flipbook.

"Hello welcome to Hobbs Palace, what'll you like to order?" Ryan asked eloquently.

"Well you foolish waiter I'll like some roasted beef along with the rice special." Gerald Lane ordered.

What he'd requested for was roasted steak and rice with a special spicy sauce, this meal was the most expensive meal in the restaurant because it's ingredients are sourced from Asia.

"Alright kindly wait a bit you'll have your order." Ryan replied as he jotted it down and left.

"Oh and don't forget to bring me some orange juice loser." Gerald hollered as he added a laugh to it.

Although Daniella had dumped Ryan she didn't want to treat him in the way Gerald was treating him.

"Gerald can we just forget what happened today and kindly move on with our date?" Daniella begged as her cute eyes reflected the light from the chandeliers.

"Babe I understand you respect the young loser but I just want to deal with him in a different way." Gerald grinned.

After a period of 20 minutes, Ryan held the tray containing their food as he approached the table Gerald who was backing him had noticed he was coming.

And stood up and turned around raising his right-hand due to Ryan observant nature he stepped back, avoiding a nasty spill of the meal.

"Oh I apologize peasant." Gerald apologized deceitfully.

Ryan kept the tray and allowed them to open their meal as he headed back.

"Oh waiter you forgot the ice cubes to be added to my orange drink." Gerald hollered.

"Sir they're in your drinks already kindly enjoy your meal." Ryan replied holding back his agitation.

Gerald and Daniella dined as they chatted as they enjoyed the meal, after proper dining the enjoyed the sweet and cold orange juice.

Gerald went towards the counter and paid for their meal with his custom ATM card.

Gerald on his return to his table noticed Ryan carrying a bowl of soup, as he went to deliver to another custom that'd arrived.

Gerald then went behind Ryan and then kicked him causing Ryan to stagger and fall.

Bang! Spash!

The tray fell along with the bowl which was plastic by the way as it emptied it's liquid content, Ryan arose from the now marred floor.

"Oh my goodness!" Ryan hollered.

Ryan became enraged his eyes narrowed and he turned back to face Gerald.

"You loser a** fiend you caused this and now I'm in deep trouble because of your shenanigans." Ryan replied sharply.

"I'm sorry." Gerald apologized as he walked backwards.

"I DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR DAMN SORRY BETTER SHUT THE HELL UP YOU BLUNDERING FOOL !" Ryan hollered as he was blinded by rage.

The other waiter ran into the office to inform the manager about what was happening.

Gerald was doused in fury as he walked up to Ryan.

Slap!

He'd given Ryan a loud slap as the right side of his face turned red.

Ryan replied with a punch to his face as both of them engaged in a fight, they started exchanging blows as Ryan proved to be superior in strength.

"ENOUGH!" A deep voice hollered halting the fight.

"This is appalling behaviour." A tall man with receding hairline stated.

"I'm sorry sir." Ryan pleaded as this man was his boss.

It wasn't too long before some uniformed officers arrived.

"Arrest him he tried to assault me and falsely accuse me." Gerald informed the officers.

Daniella watched everything as she was short of words.

Ryan stared at the officers in fear.
