Chapter Forty-seven: Shindig

Ava was in a hurry when she heard from Shawn that Emma and Leo were coming tonight. She wanted to prepare the most delicious food she could cook in order to celebrate their victory and also to thank them for saving the life of someone she loved. It wouldn't be good if they couldn't show any hospitality, especially if their visitors traveled from far away.

"Oh! Where are you going?" The old man asked curiously when he saw Ava rushing outside the house with a basket.
