Leroy returned to the kitchen with a smug look on his face, quite satisfied with how he had handled the situation.

As far as he was concerned such brokies didn't even deserve to be eating at the restaurant.

His initial thought was to kick them out but decided it would be better to teach them a lesson.

Next time, they wouldn't dare to set their feet into such a fine establishment reserved for the wealthy.

Brenda rushed in at that moment. “Chef, don't you think…”

“Just shut up and get to work else I'll have to consider telling the manager to slash your salary. To think you'd have the audacity to take my meal to such people, I should have your job.”

Brenda trembled as she understood Leroy's position in the restaurant.

When Jenkins wasn't around, Leroy served as a stand-in manager and so was capable of making important decisions.

So though she wished to stand up for Ethan and Anna, she found that she had no power to do so.
