Once Ethan had sent his message to the Assassins Guild through the head of the kidnappers, he knew his next target was the Salvatore family but the issue was that they were not based on Metro City.

Ethan could only utilize the [Search] function to find things in the city he was in.

If the person was not in the same city, then the function was rendered obsolete and since the Salvatores were considered the biggest dogs in the underworld, getting information on their current whereabouts would be quite difficult.

Pursing his lips, he decided to get Poltergeist's help on the matter.

“I was expecting your call, that's if you didn't die.”

“You knew I wouldn't die?”

“I had a hunch, you have a track record of succeeding against impossible odds.”

“Are you alright?... I know the curse is gone now but it should have affected you, right?”

“Can't be sure but I didn't dare to step out of my room or do anything after you'd told me about it.”
