Unfortunately, though he was slightly relieved not to be meeting them yet, Ethan got even more tense as he received confirmation that not just Louisa but Anna and Aquila were waiting to meet him on the island.

“You look nervous.” Rani pointed out in faint amusement as she watched him prepare. “Even when facing off against the most powerful person on the planet, you weren't so worried. What's wrong?”

“This and that are two different matters entirely. You won't understand.”

“Actually I do. So instead of bitching, how about you just do it and think of the consequences later.”
