After a long time of waiting for almost two hours, Morgan walked back into the court with an elderly man, who looked eighty years old. The man's heir was completely white, and he wore a white garment holding a staff. His eyeballs were white, if not looked carefully, one will think that he had no eyeballs, and jaw was covered with white beards.

When he had drawn near to them, Luca said, "Welcome wise one."

"Your majesty, why have you called me out of my chamber?" The seer asked Luca. He still had not taken notice of any other person in the court. This was because he was not seeing clearly so he usually focused on one person at a time.

"We have someone you should meet. He claims to be Eric Claus from New York."

Now Eric did not have to wait to be given the chance to speak before speaking. "I do not claim, rather I am Eric Claus. If you have any problem with that, then you should tell me directly?" He did not like the idea that the King used that world claim. He saw that words to indirectly mean that he was lying to them about who he was. So he was fed up and gave up trying to act like he was from that world.

Hearing him rant, the seer turned to him and said. "Calm down my friend. You are in a different world."

"I know that already." Eric answered the seer and turned to Zach who had brought him there. "I thought you said these people can help me?"

"Yes, Eric. You need to calm down and let the wise one seek?" Zachary pleaded with him and when he was calm, he then said to the seer. "Forgive my friend. He is going through a lot. He wants to go home and I believe you can help him."

"The one that can help anyone here is him. He is the one to help us and also help himself?"

"I knew it. These men can not help me." Eric concluded. He was still pissed off by the words of the King concerning him lying about his identity. Most of all, he did not really believe in seers or fortune tellers. "I'm sure you know another place that you can take me to. People that can actually help me and not l doubt who I am. Why should I lie about my name?"

Then they all realized where his anger was coming from, so the King swallowed his pride and apologized. "I'm sorry for saying those words. I'm sure you will soon understand why I had to use the word. Please forgive me."

It was the first time he was seeing such a king. In the movies he saw, kings hardly apologize even when they are wrong. So because Luca had asked for his mercy, he decided to calm himself and listen to them.

Now that calmness had finally been maintained in the court, the seer had to speak. "No one doubted your identity. You are truly Eric Claus from the mystical nation called America."

Eric was surprised, he hadn't mentioned America to them while he was there yet the seer knew about the place. But he was most surprised that America was the place referred to as a mystical place. He kind of understood one thing now from those words and it was the fact that the way he referred to that world to be mystical and the inhabitants of it, that was the same way they referred to his world to be mystical too. But in all, he was glad that someone finally knew where he came from, so there was hope that he would know how to go back. Thus he was calm to hear more.

Then the seer continued, "We have been waiting for you for so long. A prophecy had been spoken of you decades ago that a man will fall from the sky, clothed in strange attire covered with blood and he shall go by the name Eric Claus the American. He is the one that will lead our people to victory and drive away all the monsters and creatures that trouble our lands." He paused and looked at Zach. "What I have said concerning his manner of coming, is it true or not?" He asked that question for confirmation.

Zachary was surprised because he had not heard of such a prophecy, so he looked strangely at Eric before talking. "We did not see him fall from the sky, but we found him wearing strange clothing covered with blood just as you have said. He was badly injured but had healed with great speed beyond ordinary."

There was nothing else to deny what was spoken of him. Eric could not deny the fact that he came there with a strange dress, different from the ones they wore and also the fact that the cloth was stained with blood. But one thing he did not understand was that in all that was said, they did not tell him what he had come to hear, which was how he could go back to his world. And once again, he did not understand how the fate of the world was in his hands because he did not know how to make use of their weapons. In short, he was not trained to fight whether with swords nor guns nor hands.

"How can I return home?" He asked the seer, since he was the only one making points clear to him there.

"That depends on your ability to fulfill your purpose here. Until the monsters are driven away from the face of the earth, you can not go home."

"But how can I fulfill this destiny when I can not fight?"

"You have the best swordsman our land has ever known since its history. So he shall guide you on how to use the swords." Luca answered. By saying that he was referring to Zachary Hawkins.

"Your majesty, we both know that I have abandoned this practice for years, I appeal to you that he be trained by another swordsman. We have a lot of great swordsmen in Palind." Zach said as he did not want to go into fighting again. He knew that Luca was saying that because they wanted him back in the field.

"There is no other person worthy of the task. Besides, you already have a history with him so you should understand him better."

"We have known each other for only three days." Zachary was seeking all means to push the training of Eric to another person.

"Three days!!" The seer exclaimed, the reason for his exclamation was unknown to all who were present as they all focused their attention on him while he came closer to Eric again, then he took hold of his both hands and looked into his palms steadily, leaving the others in confusion of what was going on as they waited patiently for him to bring them to the light by telling them what he had seen or heard.

The stare into his palms was beginning to take longer than expected and it made Eric get scared as it was obvious that the seer could see something bad about his future and that happened to be the reason why he hated seers and fortune tellers. His mind began to skip the most as despite his actions to tell the seer that it was enough, he still would to let go of his hands. Instead, he would even look more closely into it.He finally got sick of this action, so he did not want the seer to continue with the stare, so he withdrew his hand. "What did you see?""Hmmm." He hummed. That was a sign to tell that his mouth was very heavy to say what he had seen. But the way all eyes were fixed on him, he had to speak up. "I am afraid to tell us that he does not have the hands of a swordsman. It bleeds my heart to say that it could be impossible for him to master the sword.""Does that mean the prophecy was false?" Luca asked. He could not bear to hear that the prophecy was false because the news

Harris said to Eric. "I remember what the seer told you.""Of course, I also know what he said but I am going to prove him wrong." He replied thinking that Harris was referring to the impossibility of him knowing how to use the sword.Harris knew that was what he was thinking from that response, so he had to go straight to the thing which he was referring to. "No, I'm not talking about being a swordsman.""Then what are you talking about?" Eric asked because h

The rate of speed which the king used in responding to Zach was so fast. Eric was about countering it when he accepted the challenge. So he looked at Zach who had told the king to increase the number of men that would fight against him with very annoying eyes that showed his inconvenience with the decision.Zach read the meaning behind those eyes and whispered to him, "Don't worry, you will be fine. I believe in you."But Eric was more pissed by the words that he should not worry, so could not hold his peace anymore, for he had to speak out. "I am to face this trail, so I do not accept it.""Eric....!!!" Zach stretched his name."What??!!""You can not forfeit this trial.""Yes I can. Why would you ask that I face four men at a time? It took almost over five hours before the detective in charge of interrogating the suspect came out to meet Eric Claus and Chase Stevens in the police station. "I thought you were asked to leave?" he asked, to my surprise. His question called their attention, so they looked up in shock but without fear since they had committed no offense by staying. "Well," Chase began as he searched for the right words to say that would make the detective understand their reason for not going home as they were asked to. "We just couldn't leave." he said, still unable to find the best words. Eric had to help him out at this point even though he was not totally in support of them staying there for that long. "Were you people able to force the truth out of him? I just can't go home knowing that someone wants me dead and probably why?" That was a good reason to defend and justify their refusal to leave the station and the detective understood quite well so he did have to press further. "Well, you two

“Just before you woke up,” Chase began, “He told Lauren and I that he would be removing you from life support because his test showed that you would never wake up again. But upon coming to see you in the ward, we found you awake, that is to say he has found out that you would be waking up any time soon so he wanted to prevent it from happening. When I asked him how it was possible that someone who he presumed to never wake up again was awake and sound, he said he didn’t know and would do some research that would explain it scientifically. He still has not given any response with the claim that he was still doing his research with some of his colleagues.” Now Eric was getting a clear understanding of something that he never put into consideration before now. It was now clear to him why he had to leave the world of Palind, letting them complete the fight which was supposed to be concluded before his departure. So he had no reason to doubt the words and suspicions of Chase. “In that cas

Towards the evening hours of the day, Chase was there with Lauren and Jodie to pick Eric from the hospital and take home. While Lauren and Jodie were with Eric in the room putting together his stuff for departure, Chase went to see the doctor. He knew they were done with all formalities already and he shouldn’t be there again. “Oh, Mr. Chase, is it you again? The fun moment lasted for a couple of hours, until it was getting late, so Lauren had to take Jodie home since they came right from school. “Jodie, I guess we should get going now.” “No, I want to spend more time with my dad.” Jodie refused because she didn’t want that moment to end. She was also scared that her father would go into a coma again. “Come on… you will have the time you want with him, he is not going anywhere. Besides, you haven’t gotten home since you closed from school today and you still have homework and school tomorrow.” Lauren gave her some reasons why they have to go home. Afterwards they got their horses and led the soldiers out of the city of Griffins. Harris had not taken his mind off from what Eric told him, so he was still waiting to hear the outcome of Eric’s discussion with his father. So as they headed for the city of Ironbrook, he rushed forward, coming close to his father and asked in a low tune since he also thought it to be a secret. “Father, how did it go?” Zach’s mind was no longer on that, he did not perceive Harris to keep thinking of that, so he asked back as he looked into his son’s eyes curiously. “How did what go?” Still wanting to keep it a secret, Harris did not answer that question with words but with an ey

After Harris was out of sight, Zachary Hawkins changed the pretentious discussion. “The King will now see you Eric.” “Okay.” Eric said as they both head to meet with King Luca Cole. In a couple of minutes they were in the king’s presence and Eric said. “Your majesty, you asked to speak with me.” “Yes,” Luca turned towards him. “We are ready to move out, so we want to know if you are set.” “Ermmm….” Eric stammered because he had not told the King about his soon departure and as Zach had advised, it was wise for him to tell the king that he would soon be leaving the country Palind back to his world. he struggled to get the right words to break the news he had for Luca but his facial expression already foretold that what he was trying to say was not something pleasant to be heard. “It’s okay, Eric, you can spit it out and stop bordering on how I will take it.” Luca encouraged him to speak and stopped holding his words.
