Chapter 20 (part 3)

Horaz wildly comments in his mind that he feels an urge of wild disgust reaches inside of him, there was either envy or a form of jealousy that wields his mind whenever he saw Betts. Nothing of it was any kind of obsession, affection, or romance, but he can simply tell she is of high stock like that of Perri. There is the attraction he cannot deny. His mind bolstered past the wall and rock it trapped itself when her presence emerged from nowhere, but she belonged to Trust, and showed in his actions. Even her smell stunk of Trust, or what he perceived as the way Trust smells.

Between this very thought of Horaz and Perri managing to stamp down her wandering lust towards Trust, of all people, she knew Horaz was experiencing the same kind of struggle. The least the both of them can hope for is to not succumb to Betts and Trust, who seem to not even regard their existence as anything but mere side character to their world.
