Summoning Wizard

Chapter 10 : Planning

Somewhere in a hot air balloon. There was an old man with white hair sitting and looking at the forest. The old man was wearing a pure white shirt and holding a magic wand made of wood in his right hand.

Behind him stood also a man in a white robe who was testing Harry's suitability with the previous element, Drek. Drek was currently standing behind the seated old man. Drek looked at the seated old man with respect in his eyes.

Drek really respected this old man because he was the head of the Bright Light Academy. The old man had very strong strength and was one of the strongest mages currently on the Thamrin Continent.

The air around the old man was very cold, perhaps because the air around him felt a very strong pressure.

"Master Bernard, are you sure you are letting Harry take this test?" asked Drek nervously for fear of upsetting the old man.

"Drek, I, as the head of the Academy, must not treat any student special. Everything must be fair, even though he is talented, he must still have the ability to survive. If not, this talent will only be wasted," said the old man. calm.

Hearing the man's words, Drek thought for a while and said it hesitantly.

"But Mr. Bernard, last year didn't you let your son enter Bright Light Academy without going through this survival test? Wasn't he immediately accepted into the academy? I think this Harry's talent is also not inferior to your son. So, I thought maybe we could do it …”

"Drek," before Drek could finish his words, the old man immediately said angrily to Drek.

"What?! So you think I'm giving privileges to my son and not being fair?"

Seeing that the old man was so angry, Drek immediately spoke while covered in cold sweat pouring out from the pressure that the old man had put on him.

"No, it's not like that. How could I think that Master is unfair. I'm sure you must have your own considerations against Harry. But I just want to know the reason, after all Harry has a very rare talent. If we train him well then maybe in the future of our Bright Light Academy can defeat our old enemy, the evil-ridden Dark Academy."

The old man who was sitting on the chair couldn't help but sigh at Drek's words. The old man's eyes looked towards the forest.

"Drek, don't you know that we have been enemies with the Dark Academy for thousands of years. This is not a grudge that can be reconciled anymore. We must always be careful of the Dark Academy."

"Then why doesn't Mr. Bernard just try to recruit Harry? I'm sure we can train Harry to be the most powerful wizard on the Thamrin continent. After our Bright Light Academy succeeds in making Harry Become the most powerful wizard on the Thamrin continent, we can definitely beat the Dark Academy." Drek said.

"Because of his talent we can't recruit Harry into our Bright Light Academy." Bernard said

"I told you we always have to be careful of the Dark Academy. Likewise the Dark Academy, they won't let us develop Harry into the strongest wizard. You think they'll just sit around and watch us train Harry to become the strongest wizard on the continent?" Thamrin then destroyed them? No Drek, the Dark Academy won't let us get such powerful talent."

Drek fell silent after hearing the truth Bernard had presented, he then thought.

"But Mr. Bernard, what can they do if we can recruit Harry? They want to destroy us? We are currently equal in strength to theirs so they shouldn't fight us even if they have to recruit Harry."

The old man shook his head and said gloomily.

"You're still too naive Drek. Maybe now our only enemy is the Dark Academy. Do you think the other Magical Academies will stand by and watch us get such amazing talent. They will also be afraid if Harry joins our Bright Light Academy. If we recruit Harry , The Dark Academy will seize this opportunity and unite with the rest of the Magic Academy to defeat the Bright Light Academy."

"Haaaa, looks like we really can't recruit Harry. Otherwise, our Bright Light Academy will only be in trouble. The more talented a person is the more likely he will be pushed aside by others, giving that person no chance to grow." Drek said while shaking his head.

"I'm pretty sure that right now the Dark Academy must be sending assassins to kill Harry in these tests. We can only hope that Harry survives." Bernard said.

In another room inside the hot air balloon. Five wizards wearing black robes were sitting together around a table and looking out over the forest where this year's students were taking their entrance exams for the magic academy.

One of the 30 year old men wearing black robes sitting at the table spoke to the other magicians.

"Sir, are you sure you want to kill Harry? We can still try to recruit him. That kid has a high probability of becoming the strongest wizard on the Thamrin continent. If we can recruit him then we have the possibility of becoming the strongest Magic Academy on the Thamrin continent."

Hearing the young man's words, an old man in a black robe who was currently sitting in the center between them as well as having the highest seat position was the head of the Dark Academy.

"You think recruiting him will benefit us? Harry doesn't have the element of darkness at all. You see he only has the element of light which is our enemy's element. Then the element of fire which is very close to the element of Light and the element of plants which is also more in favor of the element light. Even though the dimensional elements are neutral but the elements that Harry has are more towards the Light element which is very incompatible with the Dark Academy."

The man who had previously spoken came back to say something.

"Then why don't we take this opportunity to get rid of the Bright Light Academy. I'm sure if the Bright Light Academy succeeds in recruiting this student then all the other magic academies will be wary of the Bright Light Academy. It's possible that we can cooperate with the other Magic Academies." to get rid of the Bright Light Academy."

The head of the Dark Academy could only sigh at this man.

"You think the head of the Bright Light Academy is stupid? That old man sure is cunning. How many years have we been fighting each other like this. I know very well how shrewd the head of the Bright Light Academy is. They wouldn't take the risk just for a single student who bit talented."

The man just now was silent for a moment after hearing his master's explanation.

"Then what should we do now?"

"We better get rid of that kid in this test. We can't give him the possibility of growing up and becoming a threat to us in the future. Since he has no possibility of joining our Dark academy then we better get rid of him."

The other black robe mages nodded and agreed with their academy head's plan.

"Then I will send a novice wizard." said the young man.

The head of the Dark Academy scolded him again, "You idiot. If we only send out a novice wizard then we'll be more easily spotted by the other Magic Academies. At least send a junior wizard."

As the head of the Dark Academy said, the young man then asked.

"Is there really a need to send a junior wizard? Harry isn't a wizard right now so a novice wizard will suffice."

The head of the Dark Academy shook his head at this young man.

"You think the Bright light Academy will sit idly by watching us kill a student in this test. If they manage to find our magician who tried to kill a student in this test then they can give us punishment for breaking this rule. You know, Magic Academy others may be neutral right now but if they have a good reason then they won't hesitate to get rid of us."

After knowing the reason why the head of the Dark Academy did this, the young man no longer objected.

"Very well sir, I will immediately dispatch a junior wizard."

The man then disappeared from the meeting room. The head of the Dark Academy kept his eyes on the forest and spoke to the other black-robed man in the room.

"Although Harry is talented but it will only be a threat to our Dark Academy."
