Chapter 336: Willing Hearts

The door's movement startled Sailor, who instinctively gasped. However, upon recognizing Evan, she quickly stifled her exclamation.

"My apologies," Evan stammered, hastily closing the door. "I assumed it was locked. The others are waiting downstairs."

Heaven knows the restraint required to maintain his composure in the face of such allure.

Meanwhile, Sailor gazed at her reflection, a wistful look clouding her eyes. Why had he left so abruptly? Did she not measure up to his standards? Or perhaps she paled in comparison to other starlets?

Flushed with embarrassment, she chided herself softly, "What am I thinking? Such foolish notions. If anyone knew, they'd surely mock me. Besides, he's Mr. Smith. If he were to act improperly, would he still be the Mr. Smith I admire?"

Oblivious to Sailor's inner turmoil, Evan shook his head ruefully and proceeded to the lit lavatory on the far left.

A distinctive click of a lock echoed as Emma heard approaching footsteps.

"Another unlocked door," Evan
