Over the next few days had been peaceful for James apart from the fact that he still doesn't have any money yet. Lately, his luck hasn't been good anytime he signs in.

“It's a new day, I hope my luck is really good today” James said, looking forward to it.

After signing in, the system robotic female AI voice sounded.

“Lottery card?” James was a bit disappointed, he has a house, a car but what he needs right now is money to buy food, clothes and many other things.

“It's time to test my luck again. God, Buddha, Holy Mary, Allah and every other gods, please let my luck be extremely good” James clapped his hands together and quickly prayed to all the gods he could think of.

“Wtf, I only got six dollars after two spins???” James felt speechless and almost on his verge of tears cursing his bad luck in his mind.

James swore that if he obtained a dollar again, he would probably die on the spot.

“System spin” he said as he hoped for the best.

“I billion naira?!” James was shocked at the third result, he felt so happy that he took off his shirt and started jumping around like a madman.

“Did I just become a billionaire just like that?” When he was still asking himself that question, a text came in from his bank.

James looked at the message on his phone and smiled.

“Time for my real glow-up now,” he said to himself as he quickly went to take his bath.

A few minutes later,

The sound of a Mercedes engine was heard. The car was magnificent as he drove along the roads of Banana Island, creating a unique scenery.

“Wow…a Mercedes AMG S63!”

“I remembered this car. This was the car driven by that handsome boy last week”

“Oh yeah, I just remembered”

When James arrived at the entrance of the boutique, two security guards immediately came to welcome him. They even cleared the parking space that could be enough for two cars for him.

“Hello, sir. Welcome,” two security guards said warmly.

“One parking spot is enough” Said James, he doesn't want to take up too many unnecessary public resources even like some old rich men.

When James entered the mall, the two security guards split up and looked around cautiously.

What the f*ck, this is a Mercedes AMG S63 worth hundreds of millions. If someone came over to scratch it, a house would be gone. How could they dare to slack off?

When James entered the clothing boutique store, almost all the attendants frowned at James with utmost disgust.

The attendant didn't even bother attending to James because of the way he dressed.

‘What can this boy with less than 20 thousand afford here, even the cheapest clothes here could pay his house rents’ That's what they all thought.

Even some customers were closing their noses as if he was dispelling some sort of stinky stench.

James didn't seem to care at all, he went to check out some clothes that caught his interest.

He saw some nice casual wear and corporate wear that suited him, just as he was about to try it on, an attendant who had been watching him for a while now came over and stopped him.

“Excuse me, what do you think you are doing?” The attendant said with a scorn in her voice.

James answered, “Of course, trying on some clothes, any problem?”

The attendant's disdain even became stronger, she looked at James from head to toe and said, “Can you even afford the clothes in this boutique?”

“If you get it dirty, will you pay for the loss?” The attendant asked

“Wait, what makes you think I can't afford it?”

The attendant smiled and spoke, “Obviously the way you dressed, you look like someone who has made friends with poverty and enemy with wealth”

Immediately the attendant said that, and everyone in the boutique laughed out loud.

This made James very annoyed, and he was about to retaliate when a petite attendant walked over, “Sister Linda, maybe this gentleman can afford the dress, besides all customers should be treated equally”

Linda's face darkened and said in an old-fashioned manner, “Ruth, will you keep your damn mouth shut. I mean look at this man, he is making the other customers uncomfortable and if the boss hears of this, we are in trouble”

“Sister Linda, let me handle this man then, if he can pay the fine and if he can not, I will simply chase him out,” Ruth said.

Linda's face became ugly, this little girl who doesn't know anything dares to stand up for this poor man, “Tsk, you must have been enchanted by his handsomeness, don't be fooled!”.

If not for this girl's intervention, James was ready to talk some senses into that attendant head and walk out.

James kept picking clothes, many clothes ranging from 100 thousand upward.

In total, he picked 10 expensive clothes. Everyone looked at him and was waiting for him to make a fool of himself when he couldn't afford to pay.

“I will be making a transfer” James said as he pulled out his little button cellphone.

Everyone laughed when they saw it, “He doesn't even have a smartphone” someone among the customers said.

James looked at his phone and really felt he needed to change his phone, while Ruth began to feel that this man might not be able to pay.

James input his bank ussd code and transferred the total sum of 20 thousand dollars.

“Payment Successful”

Everybody was speechless and didn't know what to say.

The person who was shocked the most was the attendant who was mean to James, Linda. Her whole body couldn't help but tremble.

She felt that someone poured cold water of reality straight at her face.
