[Congratulations, Sir, your vision is now normal.]

Jack groped his eyes, repeatedly putting on his glasses only to take them off again, closing one eye alternately, and opening both eyes wide to look around. He smiled with emotion before bursting into uncontrollable laughter. Jack couldn't stop himself. It felt like being reborn, seeing the world so clearly, without the barrier of lenses.

He vividly remembered how Elena and her family, as well as some of his former colleagues, often made jokes about his astigmatism. There was even a time when Tommy had deliberately taken and hidden his glasses. Somehow, Jack, who had to fumble around trying to find things due to his poor vision, had made Elena's family laugh heartily.

"System, how did you do it?" He still found it hard to believe. This felt like a dream!

[All because of your kindness, Sir. All this time, you have seen with your heart, felt the struggles of others, and have always been kind to everyone. You are able to see the gaps that others overlook. I am deeply touched.]

Jack took a deep breath. On his first day as the Host of the Super Wealth System, he had already witnessed so many miracles. In his heart, he swore he would never squander this blessing!

"System, now I’m homeless. I’ll buy a luxury house tomorrow, and tonight, maybe staying at a hotel isn’t such a bad idea."

Jack remembered there was a three-star hotel not far from there. As he passed the quiet Havrefort Street, a quaint inn with classic design caught his attention. It wasn’t the inn itself that made Jack stop, but the commotion happening nearby.

He could see clearly now, a woman with a disheveled appearance was moaning and pleading, asking to be released from the grip of the mustached man.

"Please, Sir. Let me go home," the woman tried to free her arm.

"No! I’ve rented you for the night," the man growled.

The woman begged again, "I’ve already served you. Please, let me go."

"Don’t be ridiculous! I’ve paid in full. My friends will be coming. You need to be professional! Come with me, now!" The mustached man dragged the woman without any mercy.

Of course, Jack’s heart was uneasy seeing this scene. But he wasn’t an expert in martial arts, and the mustached man was large, with muscles bulging out.

Jack wasn't sure his jaw would survive the blow of the man's burly arm. However, the woman's cries were really bothering him.

“Stop it!” Jack was determined.

The mustachioed man turned around, staring at Jack with eyes that looked as if they were about to pop out of their sockets.

“Don't interfere. Pretend not to see this, or I'll make your eyes unable to see forever.”

Jack swallowed hard. His vision had just returned to normal, and now someone was threatening to take it away.

Jack shifted his gaze to the unfortunate woman. From the tear-filled look in her eyes, Jack knew she was hoping for help.

His trembling hand clenched into a fist. He gathered his courage.

"Why are you forcing her to come with you if she wants to go home?"

The mustached man snorted. “Little punk! Apparently, you really can't wait to go blind!”

With stomping steps, the mustached man dragged the woman towards Jack. Indeed, his every step managed to increase Jack's heart rate. Especially as he approached and raised his fist, his muscles became more defined and intimidating.

“Take this, loser!” he said as he was about to swing his fist at Jack.

“Police!” said Jack spontaneously with both hands on his head. He even doubted if his skull was strong enough not to crack. At the very least, he would receive stitches in the head from the leak.

“What?” The mustached man braked his strongly clenched hands.

“I-I'll call the police.”

Not only did the mustached man not beg for mercy or try to stop Jack from taking action, he actually laughed.

Jack lowered his hands, watching his opponent laugh uncontrollably.

"Just so you know, one of my friends who’s coming here to have fun with this woman is a police officer. Go ahead, call another police officer now, and let's make this night even more interesting."

Although Jack was momentarily shocked, he knew not all police officers were like that. Still, he now had doubts about reporting it.

SYSTEM, find out his weakness!’ Jack thought to himself.

[Found! Name: Paul Hogweed. Age: 40. Weakness: His wife, Grace Hogweed …]

Jack curled the corner of his lips as he looked at the transparent screen showing the mustached man’s personal information.

“What makes you dare to look at me like that?!” Paul patted his chest. “I'm the owner of this inn. People know my greatness. A smart person would respect me, but a loser would regret daring to defy me!”

“So, your name is Paul Hogweed, right?” Jack didn't show any fear on his face.

“O, you already know? Good! Remember my name in hell, because after this I will take you to my inn!” Paul grabbed Jack's hand, dragging him along with the poor woman, like dragging a child forced to take a bath.

“Sir, please let this young man go. It's okay, I'll go in with you again.” The woman changed her mind. She had been worried about her safety, but now she was worried about Jack. She knew Paul never messed with his words.

“Why should I choose if I can have both of you? Hahaha, you'll do your job, while this loser will increase my income. I'll dissect his body, take out and sell his internal organs.” Paul tightened his grip on Jack and the woman.

The woman continued to plead for Jack's release. However, she became annoyed at Jack who seemed calm. “Sir, wake up! He's going to take your kidneys, your heart, gouge out your eyes. He'll kill you!” her voice sounded frustrated, making Paul laugh harder.

“He wouldn't dare.”

Paul stopped right in front of the entrance gate. “WHAT?!” he said as he leaned towards Jack.

But Jack wasn't intimidated. He said, “In one press, all conversations recorded on my phone will be sent to Mrs. Grace Hogweed.”

Paul was wide-eyed, his face suddenly pale. In a stammering voice he asked, “How do you know my wife?”

“Don't I look like a spy? Hahaha, apparently my disguise is perfect.”

“What do you mean?” Paul grabbed Jack's shirt. He hissed, “Don't fuck with me.”

“Big mistake. I should have warned you, don't mess with Mrs. Hogweed. Or, you'd lose everything. The wealth, the inn, the luxurious amenities, even the name of the clan.”

Jack gave Paul a sharp look. He whispered, “Continue your foul behavior if you want to be Paul LACTON again.”

The poor woman was shocked as Paul released the grip from her hand. She didn't know what Jack had said to Paul, but clearly, the situation was now reversed.

“Who are you?”

Cold sweat made Paul's forehead and palms wet. The reason was that no one knew his true identity except his wife. No wonder he was scared because being a Lacton meant being poor again, being belittled, cursed at, and starving.

"It doesn't matter. What’s important is that you haven’t forgotten that Mrs. Hogweed won't be pleased to see her husband having fun with another woman. And I have a recording of you talking about the party plans you're organizing with your friends at Mrs. Hogweed's inn." Jack waved his phone in front of Paul.

"Pl-please, sir, don’t send that recording to my wife," Paul stammered. He started to think that Jack might be a spy hired by his wife to monitor him. Reflecting on the past few days, he understood why his wife had been so cold and suspicious.

Feeling his safety threatened, Paul threw away his pride and decided to kneel before Jack. "Sir, I promise I won't betray Grace again. Please, give me a chance."

Jack smiled sarcastically. He deliberately stepped hard on Paul's big toe. “Relax, Mr. Hogweed. I like a bargain.”Paul grimaced. Even though Jack's weight was far below his, it was still painful for Paul to have his big toe on a pedestal. But he couldn't get angry. Paul instead held Jack's foot, “Tell me sir, I'll do anything, as long as you keep my sins a secret from Grace.”Jack removed his foot from Paul's big toe. “That's easy. Do three things for me.”Paul paused for a moment to think. If it wasn't because of his wife, he wouldn't have done those three things for Jack, let alone kneel before him like he did now. Even so, he couldn't bargain.“Yes, sir, with pleasure,” he replied while holding back his irritation.“First, apologize to her.” Jack pointed at the woman named Laura Kills.Paul turned to Laura and gave her a sharp look. In his heart, he strongly opposed Jack's request. His pride was being torn apart! But his tongue tried to negotiate nicely, “Sir, I'll do anything, b

Entering the area of Paradise Roadway, Jack was greeted by the loud, lively music, the strong smell of alcohol, and the dim, colorful lights. Amidst the chaos, the flirtatious laughter of the women entertaining their clients could be heard."Sir, follow me," Laura whispered, walking quickly but stealthily.Seeing the anxious expression on Laura's face, Jack refrained from asking any questions. He followed her through the crowd, passing people dancing to the rhythm of the music.During the journey, Jack was surprised to learn that the brothel also sold clothes. He noticed display windows on both sides, complete with price tags hanging on the glass. Some items were even on sale for over 50% off. However, what was displayed in the windows were not mannequins, but real women and men. The women were on the left side, while the men were showcased on the right. In addition to mannequins being replaced by real people, what further puzzled Jack were the prices listed. The prices varied, but Ja

The Paradise Roadway brothel offers three types of rooms for customers who wish to stay with a prostitute or gigolo: standard room, single room, and paradise room. The cheapest rental cost is, of course, for the standard room. These are small booths lined up, measuring 3x2 meters, containing only a bed."Do you know how much the rent is per night for the best room here?" Ava stared sharply at Jack while signaling for the executioners to return to her side.Jack didn't respond; instead, he looked at Laura, who appeared pale. He put his arm around Laura's. "Calm down, Miss, everything will be fine."“What's good?” Ava snapped. “At the very least, I'll shave his hair off to break even. She lost her crown for making me lose a customer.”“You're not going to do that.” Jack gave Ava a sharp look. “Get ready to kiss my feet.”Ava burst out laughing, as did the others. They both knew that Jack, who they considered a hobo, would have to give thousands of dollars to save Laura. And that was imp

“You bastard! You've got a big mouth, you fucking hobo!” snapped Jessy in exasperation. In her entire career as a prostitute at Paradise Roadway, this was the first time Jessy had ever seen a loser fight the most feared pimp there. It was also the first time she, Laura, and everyone else around her had seen Ava become more patient than usual. Now Ava just stares at her phone screen.“Mommy?” asked Jessy as she saw Ava's hands trembling.“Jack Hall...” Ava hisses, raising her gaze to Jack.“Yes, that's my name.”Ava succeeded in making everyone wide-eyed when she suddenly dropped to her knees in front of Jack.“Mommy, what are you doing?” Jessy bent down and pulled on Ava's arm, which was three to four times her size, intending to help Ava up.However, without giving any explanation, Ava firmly swatted Jessy's hand away, knocking her to the floor.Jessy is about to protest. Jessy clenched her fists, holding back the frustration that made her chest burn. This was the first time she had been humiliated by Ava, someone she had considered a mother figure, in front of so many people. Ava told her to be careful, not because she was worried about her, but because she was more concerned about a suitcase.‘It’s just an old suitcase, but she expects me to treat it like an expensive antique vase!’Jessy’s pride as the prime woman of Paradise Roadway was clearly shattered, especially when she saw people secretly laughing at her. But she didn’t dare to defy Ava. Holding back her resentment, Jessy walked behind, carrying that damn suitcase.“Jessy, why are you walking so slowly?! Hurry up! Don’t make Mr. Hall wait!” Ava shouted from about 8 meters away.Jessy gritted her teeth. The suitcase was heavy! She cursed silently. Jessy shot a sharp glare at Laura. She couldn’t accept it!“Just ignore her,” Jack whispered to Laura. He wrapped his arm around Laura’s, making her

Jack could see the anxiety on Laura's face. He understood; tonight was going to be difficult for her. An unreasonable client, a stern and authoritarian boss, and intimidating coworkers had truly created an unhealthy work environment. It was really unfortunate that Laura had to stay there too. She didn’t even have a break to rest for a moment. No wonder Laura was so stressed, Jack thought.“You should take a shower first to freshen up.”Laura smiled awkwardly. “Alright, Sir.” She felt like an idiot. How could she forget the first step before dealing with a client—preparing herself as best as possible? She was in such a mess right now, sweaty, and looking absolutely unappealing. In the bathroom, Laura's heart was still racing uncontrollably, beating fast as though she were about to go to war. She exhaled several heavy breaths. Honestly, the nervousness she felt now was greater than when she started her debut as a prostitute. After putting on a bathrobe, Laura didn’t immediately leave th

Hearing the amount, Ava’s knees suddenly weakened. If her henchman hadn’t been quick to catch her, she would have collapsed to the floor.“W-what, Sir?” Ava asked again. Although she was sure of what she had just heard, she still wanted to hear that amazing news once more.Jack explained, “Ava, I’m paying for the rental fee of Miss Kills and the Paradise Room for an entire week. Then, $50,000 as a tip for Miss Kills. The rest, take it for yourself.”Ava was speechless. She felt like she wanted to jump for joy, but she restrained herself, not wanting to make Mr. Hall feel uncomfortable with her behavior. She simply nodded with sparkling eyes.“Remember, during that time, no one is allowed to touch Miss Kills. And no one should kick her out of the room I’ve rented. You’re also not allowed to have her accompany clients for drinks. Can I trust you, Ava?” Jack gave her a sharp look.“Of course, Sir. I will take good care of Laura.”“Good! Now I’m leaving.
