Chapter 2: Be Despised!

Eric Edward led the guards toward Richard Nicholas.

Three meters.

Two meters.

One meter!

In the nick of time only, a meter from Richard Nicholas. They haven't seen Richard yet. Nicholas heard an explosion when he did something. Two guards flew out in a flash.

On the scene, immediately as silent as a sheet.

"What's going on? What just happened?"

"I don't know, A blink of an eye, the two of them went out and into a coma.”

"Doing magic, what's the rule?"

Eric Edward swallowed a sip of saliva, a feeling of fear flashed through his mind.

"This guy Loh, a monster?"

"Everybody, No, let's move on!"

His guards glanced at each other and rushed forward, raising the electric stick to the head of the tree Richard Nicholas.

Richard Nicholas threw his arms up, and a gust of wind swept them up.

Then he suddenly lifted his foot, and then he couldn't see anything.

Each of his names. All the guards were hit right in the stomach, and the "punching" sound was continuous. Come on.

In a flash, Eyes, all guards on the ground, mouths full of blood.

Not anymore. Who dares to laugh?

They've got him. He understands the consequences of this person's writing on the black book.

Richard Nicholas approached Eric Edward and put his arm on his shoulder.

Eric Edwar. He was so scared that his legs trembled, and he knelt on the ground.

Richard Nicholas laughed a little and patted Eric Edward on the shoulder several times. I was surprised by Eric Edward.

Richard Nicholas turned and walked towards the big door.

Have a look out for Richard Nicholas left, Eric Edward sighed.

He stood up immediately and said dangerously, "Richard Nicholas, not killing me today is the biggest mistake of your life. You won't get a chance next time."

Richard Nicholas stepped out of the gate, and Brian Dennis immediately came to greet him.

"Master, are you all right?"

Richard Nicholas replied with a smile, "Of course it's okay. Don't I have nothing to do?"

"That's good, that's good."

"Uncle Dennis, we shouldn't be here long. You go home. First, I'll come to visit you in a minute."

"Well, then I go first. Master, you must be careful."

After Brian Dennis left, Richard Nicholas walked alone on the big road, and a black car stopped in front of him.

He opened the door and got into the car.

Vincent Scott glanced at Richard Nicholas in the back seat, curiously asking, "Mr. Richard, why give them seven days? With your powers, just tonight. You killed one of them."

Richard Nicholas did not answer but asked, "Do you know why cats catch mice?"

"To eat?"

"No."

"Cats don't eat mice. The reason why they catch mice is to enjoy playing with mice. During this time, mice know they'll die and can't run. I can't live without my cat's claws. I can't die. Can suffer pain."

"People only know that they are certain to die, after thinking of all the ways to save their lives, and then finally discover that there is no way to live, they heal. Despair and suffering."

"If it's easy to kill them, it doesn't count as punishment."

Vincent Scott gave a low laugh, and he knew precisely what Richard Nicholas wanted to do.

"Mr. Richard, this is a highly privileged post."

Richard Nicholas looked out the window: "I'm not interested in these things now. Let's go."

"Where do you want to go?"

Richard Nicholas thought for a moment: "It's back, then goes home for a trip."

Half an hour later, the car slowly stopped.

Richard Nicholas told Vincent Scott to go first, walked into Walnut Quarter himself, and headed for a somewhat old-fashioned villa.

He knocked on the door a few times.

"Who's that?"

Opening the door is a middle-aged woman, also the mother-in-law of Richard Nicholas - Vivian Elizabeth.

After seeing Richard Nicholas, she was stunned for a few seconds before happily saying, "Oh, Richard Nicholas, when did you get home?"

"I just came back not long ago."

"Come on in and sit down."

After his brother died, his mother-in-law's family became Richard Nicholas's only family.

Vivian Elizabeth let Richard Nicholas into her room and told him to sit down and pour water in a very cheerful way.

Now Edric James' father-in-law came in, "Who's here?"

"As Richard Nicholas, Richard Nicholas has returned."

"What?"

Edric James took a furtive glance at Richard Nicholas. He coughed for an hour, then sat down at the table.

"Richard Nicholas, are you still coming back?"

A saying made the atmosphere in the room tense and awkward.

"This old man, Richard Nicholas, just got back. Why are you talking like this?"

"Get out, and there's no place for you to talk. Get Serena down here."

"Hi, all right."

Edric James glared at Richard Nicholas and said frankly, "I heard about your brother. Now you Dream of Science and Nicholas's Family. There's no relationship?"

"Yes."

"You've been in the army for five years. Is there a post to return now?"

Richard Nicholas shrugged: "It's no big deal."

A girl went down the stairs.

A simple T-shirt that hugs close to the body shows the top perfect body shape, and wearing denim shorts reveals long, thin legs and soft white.

Her face was as white as goose eggs, with high nose waves and long black hair hanging on her shoulder like a waterfall falling.

It's so beautiful that people can't take their eyes off it.

"Mom and Dad, did you call me?"

"Yeah, sit down. Richard Nicholas is back."

Serena James was stunned for a few seconds, looking at the familiar and unfamiliar man in front of her eyes, not knowing whether her mood was more resentful or happier.

Although she and Richard Nicholas were married less than a month after marriage, Richard Nicholas went to Rocky to join the army.

The trip lasted five years. Serena James also lived as a widow for five years.

Now that Richard Nicholas is back, she doesn't know how to face him.

"In half a year, if you can grow up, not expect you to be rich or successful, but at least get on to the dean or the inspector general, I'll keep you as my son-in-law. Otherwise, pack up and get out. I said I can do it."

Serena James and Vivian Elizabeth's faces are both challenging to see. They do not hate Richard Nicholas so much.

Richard Nicholas has just returned from such unpleasantness, which is embarrassing to others.

Edric James stood up: "As soon as I got the announcement, I have a meeting to go to."

Vivian Elizabeth asked, "But the family party is about to begin. Aren't you going?"

Edric James shook his head: "No, just got word that the three areas, A City, B City, and C City, are merging. New leaders are coming. I have to take advantage of the meeting time in the city and negotiate new leadership. There can be no mistakes. This is about the future. Of our James Family, the more. Then Mr. James said to Richard:

"That's right, Richard Nicholas, if you're back, go to a family party with Serena."

Edric James put on his coat and hurriedly left the house to discuss how to welcome the new leader.

In Vivian Elizabeth's room, consoled Richard Nicholas: "Richard, don't be so upset. As long as you try, Edric won't tell you anymore."

"I know, Mom."

Then Richard Nicholas sat in Serena James' car, heading towards Sunny Hotel.

Along the way, Richard Nicholas tilted his head at the view outside the window, not saying a word.

Although they're married, they don't know each other. 

Serena James misunderstood Richard Nicholas was still angry, so she gently said, "Don't be upset. My father's personality is like that. He's right if you don't grow up like that, don't you think it's appropriate? Your age is not early, and you can't let go. Does my whole family raise you for life, okay? Are you still a man?"

The look on Richard Nicholas' face hasn't changed a bit.

Serena James was a little angry. She sighed.

Entering the hotel lobby, they saw a highly decorated wine table.

Visitors here all wear precious jewelry and gorgeous costumes.

We had a great time talking while holding a glass of wine.

Serena James led Richard Nicholas to the main table in the middle of the hall, laughing to an old man: "Grandpa!"

The older man was the head of the James Family - Darius James.

He squinted his eyes: "Oh, Serena, how come you're here now? It makes my grandfather so anxious to die. Sit down here."

He turned his head, saw Richard Nicholas beside Serena James, and asked, "Who is this?"

Serena James bowed her head, slightly unsure, saying, "He is my husband, Richard Nicholas."

"Oh?"

Darius James looked from head to toe at Richard Nicholas and said, "I heard you joined the army. I didn't expect you to come back today. Come here, sit down."

"Thank you, Grandpa."

Richard Nicholas had just sat down when Edgar James sat across from him and asked, "Brother-in-law, it wouldn't be bad if you went out for five years."

"Normal."

"Really? Was there a special shuttle when you got back?"

"I didn't like those things, so I let it go."

Edgar James laughed, "No? Ha ha, can you stop pretending? Everything in the army is prearranged. Do you mean you can quit? Not because you don't have enough years. Should energy be fired?"

All the relatives on the table looked at Richard Nicholas with a slight contempt inside his eyes.

Richard Nicholas didn't say much, either.
