Chapter 33

Karina felt bad for not believing Dustin's words. After the news, Karina turned off the television and entered the room. However, Dustin was already asleep. Karina left it alone because she didn't feel comfortable waking Dustin up.

The next morning, Karina woke up. She blinked her eyes a few times, then saw that Dustin wasn't in the room. She wondered where he had gone since it was still too early to go to work. Until she heard the sound of the water tap from inside the bathroom.

"Oh, maybe he's cleaning up." Karina sat on the edge of the bed while remembering what she had said to Dustin last night. She shouldn't have said such harsh things to Dustin.

Dustin came out of the bathroom, already wearing a change of clothes inside. Their eyes looked at each other. Karina got up and slowly approached Dustin. "I want to apologize to you for not trusting you."

Dustin smiled and nodded his head. "It's no problem. I understand what you did."
