Daemon yelled aloud, "Why did you do that? He fought for you and died. You could've said a few words of appreciation to him, not kill him as granting punishment." He gnashed his teeth in anger and rage.

Daemon would have killed Fred in the most gruesome way. He never would have thought of it even in his wildest dreams. However, Fred’s life was for Tejasv to take or forgive. He didn't want to forsake such a man like Fred and let him live, but he stood there clenching his fists and bleeding them in a rage.

Tejasv understood Daemon’s inner turmoil and shook his head. He regarded Daemon highly for not killing Fred in a frenzy of enmity. Although Tejasv tried to hold his own bitterness back, the actions of Fred seemed outrageous to him also.
