(Catherine’s perspective resumed with Salina)The moment I dived over the wolves, they turned around with a twitch in their ears, as if they had noticed the slight sounds I let out while leaping over them. All four of the wolves grunted and swung their sharp claws at me at once.I thrust my katana swiftly and struck the first wolf nearest to me. That wolf still hadn’t balanced itself from the sudden rush they all faced from my appearance.
