Multiple arrows made of flames pierced her already crushed throat and fried everything to point black.

Silence!

Everywhere became eerily quiet.

Jerouch's emotionless eyes glanced at the corpse, yet, he felt zero guilt, killing someone wasn't his first time after all, at least not on Earth.

'' Amy! ''

'' Bastard, what have you done! '' One of the boys with green hair roared in madness as his brain finally processed what just happened.

It was too fast, and none of them expected such ruthlessness.

Jerouch closed in the distance towards the boy, and he prepared to punch him. This time though, they were ready.

'' Tremor! '' Enoch bellowed with a murderous gaze.

The ground vibrated vehemently, which bought him time to intercept Jerouch.

Swinging his hammer in an upward diagonal arc, he aimed at Jerouch.

Jerouch saw the hammer heading his way, and he bent his legs down slightly. Kicking the ground, he used the recoil force to fly backwards like a feather.

The wind that the hammer brought along blew his robe and hair, revealing his crisp facial outline.

They bullied the weak when they themselves were ants among ants.

And when they faced retaliation, they fumed.

'' What do I say? Huh… ''Jerouch chuckled as he locked eyes with Enoch.

'' I must say… you're all pathetic. '' His right hand was still holding the monster core, and he brushed his dishevelled hair with the other hand.

'' You all came looking for trouble, but you're not prepared for the outcome? Even losers will shy away from such a degrading act. ''

Their face contorted as every word pierced their mind and made them wince.

'' How is she? '' Enoch asked, still on guard, not giving Jerouch the chance to attack.

'' I'm sorry, she's gone. '' The girl with red hair whispered from her kneeling position close to the corpse, but Enoch could still hear her.

'' Perfect. ''

'' Hahaha! You're right, we're pathetic. '' Enoch held the hammer tightly and his muscles bulged, revealing the red thick veins beneath his skin.

' Is he going crazy? ' Jerouch thought as he saw Enoch laugh like a lost soul.

'' Since you killed my daughter, it's only right that you accompany her. ''

' Oh? ' Jerouch's raised his brows in surprise and understanding.

'' So that's it, '' he muttered. '' I'm afraid the word pathetic might sound a little too comforting then. ''

'' Like father, like daughter, two unfortunate duos hehe. ''

'' You! ''

'' I'll kill you. '' Enoch unwrapped a dark bottle he took out from his pouch and swallowed its contents in one gulp.

'' This. ''

All his teammates were alarmed as they saw what Enoch did.

'' He actually pushed him too far. '' Rein, the fourth boy with brown hair and a spear, murmured as he also prepared for the unavoidable battle.

The mana inside the room briefly hummed, and Enoch let out cries of pain as his brows turned white and thick wrinkles formed on his skin.

Jerouch racked his brain as to what could be happening, and he soon got an answer because right now, Enoch was no longer releasing the mana fluctuation of someone at the F rank, but rather, that of an E rank warlock.

' What he swallowed earlier must have forcefully brought him to the next rank, this might be more troublesome than I thought. ' Jerouch analysed, but his impassive stance remained unmoving.

Bamm!

Jerouch jumped back, avoiding the hammer that smashed the ground.

That wasn't all though, immediately after he landed, a blade of wind headed his way and three water bullets locked on him from the twelve o'clock position.

' Earth wall. ''

'' Water bullets. ''

He summoned a wall of earth which collided with the wind blade, and three water bullets collided with three other water bullets.

'' What… ''

All of them were momentarily stunned as they saw those spells.

They had been teammates in their guild for a very long time, so they knew each person's spells like the back of their hands.

Now to see someone use it so casually?

Jerouch would not let the element of surprise run out. He used dash and appeared beside Roy, one of the green-haired boys.

A wind blade was about to hit him. Hence he slid and did a double sweep kick.

The wind blade missed him, but his kick tripped his target and with prepared earth spikes, his target had thorny spikes running from his back straight to his chest, stomach, and even his forehead.

'' I-i don't w-want to d…''

'' Oops, sorry, but you have to. ''

His target was gruesomely killed, and his corpse hanged mid-air since the spikes which were now soaked in blood stopped him from touching the ground.

Enoch yelled at the others, but Jerouch wasn't listening.

Jerouch read the system notification again.

He wasn't focused earlier, but it was apparent that the system gave him 100 exp when he finished the first human target.

Jerouch tilted his head, however, a cut still appeared on his right cheek, and he almost lost his balance due to the tremor spell.

'' Thinking of something else during a battle? '' Enoch appeared behind Jerouch and punched.

'' Jerouch twirled and replied with a punch too. However, he was sent rolling from the impact.

Before he could even get a hold of his body, three earth spikes, fire arrows and wind blades were aimed at him from different angles.

'' Earth wall ''

'' Earth wall ''

He muttered twice, blocking the spikes and fire arrows.

As for the wind blade, he simply dodged to one side.

He was low on mana which put him at a disadvantage, luckily, they were F rank warlocks with low mana reserves themselves.

Jerouch nodded as he added his free stat point to what he needed the most at the moment.

'' Dash. ''

His fast speed even increased more, and not giving them a break, he appeared beside Rein and punched his skull.

A fire arrow was about to hit his arm and he had to stop the punch to evade it, but he didn't.

He simply allowed his hand to burn, but the punch actually smashed the skull of Rein.

'' This strength, speed, and multiple spells all by an F rank warlock? Is the world going crazy? '' Enoch sucked in a cold breath.

In the brief moment that Enoch was dazed with Jerouch's battle prowess, another cry, one belonging to a female, reached him.

'' Time to finish this bastard. '' Enoch had a grim look as he dropped the dent hammer to the ground.

He cracked his finger multiple times, and his previous crazy expression vanished.

There was intense calmness and he closed his eyes.

Enoch suddenly opened his eyes and called out.

'' Earth shower. ''
