128: Woki

The mejai wasn't malevolent, or even interested in Corey's group after she got her rose. She tended to them on the other side of the cave, and once the first hour passed by she told them they had four hours left. She was a full cloud of dark smoke, and Mikayla was sketching and writing everything that she could about the Mejai even though the woman said nothing to her.

Corey leaned against the rough wall while the others ate and tried to take a nap, and he thought of Erogo and the order of the seven. At any moment, one of those two could come for him. Erogo still being stronger than Corey, yet he was very afraid of him. As much as that shot to Corey's ego, it didn't do anything to stop his wandering mind. He had to ask, he had to think, why would Erogo still fear him?

It was almost like Corey had something that he was completely unaware of.

Maybe that was it. But it seemed unlikely, NewAge would have told him if there was something. But the system hadn't brought up that topic.
