CHAPTER FIFTY-ONE

Kevin had watched the entire drama with Vanessa quietly. He could feel the pangs of pain she had going on with her and sincerely, he was not in the mood to start him sorry self but could not help it. He looked behind him at her friend, Melinda. He knew the girl from class but never thought that she could actually be close to Vanessa at this point of her turmoil. He recalled how Vanessa had staged an onslaught on the girl sometime in the past and how they made mockery of her which was around the time she eventually took to dressing like a tom boy.

She caught him staring at her and made a gesture with her pen of stabbing him with it. Kevin understood and faced his front. Clearly, she was going to defend Vanessa at all costs and that was good a thing.
